"The house was just beautiful, with high quality furniture, appliances, fixtures and finishes. The kitchen was well equiped and we were even able to prepare a Christmas meal. Beds were super comfortable with lovely soft linens and duvets. Simon and his wife live in the basement of the home so we were bit nervous about distrurbing them, especially after 9 PM. I don't recommend playing music, TV or loud conversation after 9 pm! I wouldn't recommend staying here if you have kids. "

"My family of 4 generations enjoyed a wonderful stay! The living area is spacious, rooms were comfy, and the scenery outside was beautiful (the river was a lovely view, even when most of it was frozen). The two levels of the house was helpful for spreading out, and having bedrooms and a bathroom on the main level of the house helped for easier mobility for our most elderly family member. The kitchen is slightly snug, but stocked with most of what one could need. We hope to return again in the warmer weather! "

"We are five long-time friends that look for a space to spend a few days together over the year, and we found a lovely version of it here! The open concept living, dining & kitchen space was perfect for us to be together while cooking and hanging out, and we each had our own large and comfy bedroom which was such a treat. Simon was extremely responsive and communicative with all of our questions as they came up before and during our stay, which was very reassuring. A well equipped, cozy home for our late autumn getaway!"

"Us adults enjoyed the golf and ping pong very much, the gorgeous yard totally surrounded by nature, the spacious deck. The downside was we had to drive a lot to get to the trails and shopping. One couldn’t walk anywhere.. except the yard."
