"I had to reach out to the host for instructions on how to check in. You have to go around the back of a multiple unit building through a rigged gate and the "front entrance" of this unit is actually a sliding glass back door. This unit is attached to another in the front by a thin locked white door that looks like it'd be the front door in the listing photos. On the other side of that thin door is a very loud family with multiple children that scream constantly. You can hear every single step, bump, and word. We reached out the the owner of this property multiple times. He was wrong about his own wifi name and said he didn't know what it was called. When we complained about the excessive noise, he said he called the tenants and asked them to be quiet. When we brought up that he needed to soundproof and should have made it clear that the unit was so closely attached to another unit, he simply apologized and said he would talk to the tenants. He wouldn't take any of the blame for the poor planning and poor description of the unit. Also, when we messaged back with check in instructions, he mentioned that the oven did not work and the shower was finicky. We tried sitting in the main living area, but the intense noise was so overwhelming we couldn't bear it. We paid over double to get a different last minute VRBO so we wouldn't have to stay there. It drove us and our dog insane. He also withheld any refund and said he'd give partial for a good review, which we refused. Don't stay."

"Picky the host was very engaging and a kind host. Even when I fell in the bathroom she was so attentive and helpful. There are food option within walking distance. It is easy to get to anything from the location. The lodgings were very clean. The temperature was kept at a comfortable level throughout my stay. I would really recommend this stay. The pictures do not do it justice. For the price, I do not think you could get better. Thank you for helping me to have such a great stay. "

"This property was as advertised and fit our needs. Towels were missing from the restrooms so there was no way to easily dry our hands. The shower in the on-suite bathroom didnt appear to have been cleaned recently. Overall, it was a comfortable place to stay. "

"Expedia description of house is misleading. We expected the entire house, as per description but when we arrived there was already someone in the house and were informed we only booked the basement. How does the entire house become just a smelly basement apartment. And the upstairs renters had the master code to the basement and let us in as our pass code didn't work. We felt unsafe. The Bay Suites, the host company, lied and said they changed the master code so the upstairs renters wouldn't be able to access the basement but they didn't. It still worked. When we asked for a refund, they said it was non-refundable and refused to give us our money back. It is false advertising and unsafe as anyone could walk in the basement apartment with the master code. Stay away from this place and company!"
