"Cambria is a great little area. Think super low frills. White Water has great service. No A/C so took little time to cool the room off for the kids going into the evening, but then we were fine. Erewhon water was only option in the fridge - little excessive and unnecessary. I’m all for nice perks but $8/water wasn’t what we needed when there are no stores around and traveling with 3 teens. Bikes available was a nice perk but be careful as you can only ride on the road, not the boardwalk. Found some bugs in the room but that was likely more due to being so close to the beach and having the door open from lack of A/C. Front desk guy was amazing. Picnic basket in AM nice touch but also necessary as few things around without driving. Cute place. Would’ve been nicer if each room had a seat or two outside - especially as it gets hot during the day. Teens thought WW was just Ok. Cambria beautiful but sleepy. Wouldn’t stay more than 2 days. We did one overnight and it was enough."

"We loved our view and our room! So clean and comfortable! We never needed our fireplace as the temp was perfect without it! The staff at Pelican bent over backwards to help us with anything we needed! Checkin was a breeze! The lite breakfast was delicious and fresh everyday! The delicious coffee is always ready in the lobby! "

"So good we are repeat customers ! Always very clean, staff, helpful, love the fire pits. Walking distance to the boardwalk along Cambria and a really nice nature park across the street. five stars highly recommended. And yes, get that room with the big soaking tub."

"Great location, friendly helpful staff, easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Room was nice and clean, bed was a little firm for us but otherwise fine. The grounds are very pretty, fire pits at night were attractive (we would have partaken if we hadn’t been so tired!) We will definitely stay here our next trip and enjoy the gardens. "

"Very nice surprise in Cambria CA. A lovely, and, well done (as many are not!) recently updated motel in the East Village. Clean throughout , and the rooms are fresh and bright! Very reasonably priced too! Easy in and out, and since our room was ready they let us check in way early! Will for sure be back!"
