"When we first arrived, we were put into a family room, supposedly for the three of us, platonic friends. However, the dirty old sofa, the Murphy bed and the sole provided regular bed did not even fit with the Murphy bed pulled down. So we asked for another room.
The second place we were given, then, was much cleaner and renovated. It wasn’t optimal for us, as two of us had to share one bed, which was not what we’d originally paid for. However, we were happy with it, though we weren’t given a reduction in room charge that we asked for.
The general staff was great! Welcoming and personable, present when needed. The free breakfast buffet was so nice, and the option of eating it outside in beautiful weather, in their gorgeous gardens and gazebos, was so very appreciated.
We loved our stay there and, if down in Cambria or vicinity again, will definitely stay again.
