"Hotel is in a really perfect location, with good dining downstairs. The room was fine, seemed clean but a little run down for the price. I paid for a partial ocean view and it was mediocre at best, it was mostly the roof of the building next store with a tiny view in the corner of the ocean, was definitely not worth the money. Sucks you also need to pay for parking when the hotel is already pretty pricy. Everyone was nice that worked there. "
"We love this little motel. It's near everything. It's clean and quiet. Staff is nice and friendly. Carmel is 10-15 minutes away. Monterey Bay is 10 minutes away close to PCH for your drive to Big Sur."
"I couldn't tell if the sheets were swapped out or if they just reuse them because they were wrinkled where you normally sleep. Normally, if you watch something, there's no wrinkles in it. I asked for a late check out. They wanted to charge me $75. Probably not going back there again. "
"Yes, the Inn is pet friendly. The staff was exceptional. Got there at 9:30 am with a 4:00 check in time. We went in just to ask if we could park our car early since everything was within walking distance of the Aquarium and Cannery Row. We had a lot of stuff in our car and didn't want to park it on the street if possible. A very friendly girl working the front desk said that we not only could park in the garage, but that we could check in, our room was ready. That alone sold us on the place. The room was great, with a gas fireplace, which was a nice touch, and a balcony with a view to a nice courtyard with chairs and a table. The room was big, and clean, with everything you need with the exception of a microwave. We didn't need that so that was fine. The morning breakfast was more than plentiful. The proximity to everything was perfect. We hiked at Point Lobos which was a twenty minute drive away, and beached it at Carmel beach, also a short drive. All in all a perfect weekend. I would highly recommend the Victorian Inn. Price was also among the lowest that we looked at. I would give the place a 10/10."
"Clean room, nice location. Expected a better view , fireplace would make a clicking sound while on and fire would go out. Tv (we had Netflix on) would pause every 10 min. Beds were on the smaller side. Probably wouldn’t stay again. "
"There was a nice breakfast offering. The bed was not very comfortable. They gave us a log to burn, which was fun to do. The room often smelled like smoke and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t because of the log we burned. The room looked like it could use some work. Marks on the walls, missed hanger for towel on the back of the bathroom door. The bathroom had a heater which was nice. I wouldn’t stay here again. "
