"Good resort"

Motel 6 Temecula, CA - Historic Old Town

2/10 Terrible

"Where do I start? The one good thing about this Motel is the location to Old Town. Very walkable. Now…let’s talk about the room. I get it. It’s a Motel 6 off of a freeway. But, where was the mattress? The blankets? Pillows? Pretty sure it wasn’t even a mattress but a mattress topper. With two horrible “pillows”. No comforter and just a sheet. We didn’t know that we booked and paid for a smoking room. Big mistake. And the pool…it had a green tint to it. This whole Motel was questionable. We didn’t stay the night but opted to leave after a few hours and make the long drive home. (We were on an overnight trip on a motorcycle from Huntington Beach). "

"The room we booked was a good size, a bit outdated and carpet was torn and sticky for the most part. There were 8 pools and 24 hrs open so that's good. However, what made us leave at 6 am in the morning is when we are about to turn in to sleep there were bed bugs crawling on both beds and we asked the front desk but he just said that there are critters in the desert. There were also molds in the shower. We didn't want to stay and watch the bed bugs crawling around their white sheet and my kids started itching. That's unfortunate."

"It was our first time stay at this hotel my boyfriend went to take a shower and the shower was full of hairs on the wall on the floor I don’t think the house keeper even touch the shower I called front desk. They said they were going to try to get someone to clean but of course it was after 5pm so basically nothing was done they said there was not another room to put us in so I had to clean the shower my self. So next time when I check in at 4pm I will be checking. Shower for cleanliness"

"It was a pleasant stay. My only call out was for a hotel being less than 2 yrs old it looked rundown already. Also if they have pool rules they need to I force them! Walking into the pool area and seeing 90% of the chairs with personal belonging and the pool being empty, why pay for resort fees, when you can’t take advantage of them. #Heads-up"

10/10 Excellent

"Everything about this property was excellent with the exception of the some of the items in the room. The toilet seat was broken and the toilet itself was not secured to the floor completely. Also the sink was missing the stopper. I am still rating this experience high as these could have been an isolated issue they may not be aware of."
