"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at San Montano Resort & Spa. The views over Ischia and the Bay of Naples are breathtaking, the pools and spa facilities are world-class, and the atmosphere is both relaxing and elegant. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service. Every member of the staff was warm and professional, but I want to especially recognize Gennaro, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. His attention to detail, thoughtful recommendations, and genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome and well cared for. San Montano is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy incredible food, and soak in the beauty of Ischia. Highly recommended — we will definitely return!"

"This is a beautiful hotel situated high above the sea. The pool area is so beautiful. Our balcony room faced a beautiful sunset each night. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The front desk went out of their way to help us with shuttles, ferries and all are needs. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast and the fabulous restaurants. The bar area is lovely and the drinks and music so nice each evening. There is a beautiful spa. We absolutely loved our stay here. Defiantly would go back!"

"Such a beautiful, relaxing place, in an amazing setting. The gardens are fabulous, not just the cactus garden but all the different fruits and flowers, with peacocks wandering around, it was magical. There is a lovely cafe/restaurant, only downside it wasnt open every day for dinner but that wasnt a problem for us, as there are eateries within walking distance or a short bus ride away. The staff were lovely and very special and we had the most amazing massage. We cannot speak highly enough of this special place."

"Excellent stay. This hotel consists of multiple buildings, in the area, so if you want to stay right next to the pool/breakfast area, you might want to call and ask which rooms offer that. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, the pools were lovely, and the beach shuttle was helpful. You can walk to the beach, but it's steep since Sorriso is at the top of a cliff (giving it excellent views). There are lots of shops nearby if you want to pick up some groceries, sunscreen, or souvenirs. Staff spoke good English and were helpful arranging taxis, providing recommendations, etc. Would definitely go back! "

"I liked the rooftop, the cocktail options on the rooftop, the breakfast pastries were divine, and the staff kind, professional and efficient. I witnessed the best lightening storm on the Sea from my room. So cool! The walls are thin so you hear your neighbor. Some ants and little nuisance bugs but that's Italy. "

"Upon our arrive we were checked in and our Passports taken for 4 hours. Nit sure what this is about as all other hotels just di IS check there and then. This was my only real issue with the hotel. Its set amongst the most beautiful gardens, on the waterfront. The area is quiet and we always felt safe, even when walking back from city centre at 1am. Forio centre is approx 20mins walk, an easy to get to and worth visiting. The staff at reception were ok, but the staff at breakfast were amazing, chatty and gave us great advice (we do speak italian so that helps) Our room was perfect, in the new building, top floor, overlooking the sea. Best room. It was spacious with good sized balcony, nice large bathroom and shower. Room was cleaned daily, with no complaints from us. The beach, although small was great, and included in hotel price (someone commented on here they got charged???) Breakfast was ordinary mostly cakes, but this is what italians eat, so it was fine. Air-conditioning was good, but definitely not controlled by us temp as we turned it down but no change in room temp, but at least it was cooler than outside. I would definitely stay here again"
