The decor and atmosphere is absolutely divine - the only downside was with the parking, which is really tricky to get to especially as you first arrive and want to drop off the luggage. The location is perfect for sightseeing and some of the rooms have a direct view on the gorgeous marina. Definitely a place to go back to!

Very Italian… nice deco, great location. But very poor sound proofing (room number 10 with harbor view… street noise was very annoying). Some surprising goods (decoration, patio) and bads (noise as said before, worn out bathrobes !!!!). Friendly staff though.

It was a great stay, mostly due to the hotel, concierge and staff who were extremely helpful and kind. The hotel is historical, artistic and beautiful. I stayed at Miramare hotel in Cagliari for 10 days and 9 nights, and it was an unforgettable experience. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. The beautifully preserved historic building made me feel like I was living in a movie throughout my stay. Check-in required us to walk up several flights of stairs because the elevator required a key. The room was warm and didn’t have a fan or AC. There was an open window. The bed was very comfortable, though high, and the bathroom was spacious. The breakfast was lovely, with fruit, nuts, pastries, hard-boiled eggs, cured meat and cheese, yogurt and esperesso bar. Property did send a message RE: the intercom, but they just buzzed us in instead of escorting us upstairs or helping with our luggage.

Family of 4 renting 2 room. One room was large and good space. The other was so small that the door to bathroom couldnt be open of wanting to open door into the room. Old smell in that room and drain was full. So When showering water came out nearly at once. Wifi bad in both room. Breakfeast average and not mutch refill. Had to asked for coffe no one offered it if you didnt ask.

The hotel is located in a convenient spot with most things in walkable distance or a quick bus ride away. They're redoing the street in front of the hotel--nothing to do with the hotel, but if you have mobility issues, it might be a problem as taxi can't come near the door. The inside itself is unique with all sorts of bric brac scattered about. The rooms were spacious and had everything you need. Worth noting that unless you have a harbour view, your windows will open into a pretty depressing indoor courtyard, with little light--it's a historic building, this isn't unusual but worth noting. The only real issue is the issue with the keys-- the doors have the original locks on them. Which is fine, except by their own admission the one for Room 4 is problematic. It was a pain to open and close and frankly the whole door didn't seem very secure anyways. You had to leave your keys at the front desk when you went out which would be fine if they a) told you that when you checked in so you didn't get a lecture later, and made sure there was always someone at the front desk or the door was unlocked. Unfortunately a number of times I was forced to wait around for someone to come back when I was heading out, so I could leave my key. If they could get this ridiculous key situation sorted I'd happily give them a 5/5, but over 3 days it became increasingly annoying.
