As reflected by all the other reviews on this site (and others) we always strive to provide our guests with the best experience. But wait... you never stayed at the hotel. In fact you cancelled your reservation the same day of arrival. Is it possible that this negative rating was given to us not because of any fault of ours, but because, in accordance with the cancellation fees, you were charged for your stay? And that it was not enough for you that, even if we weren't under any obligation to do so since the penalty for cancellation was 100%, we sent you a voucher for half the amount for a future stay? We might never know, Kellie, unless you call us again. If you do, this time it might be more pleasant if you avoided veiled threats of negative reviews in order to coerce us into doing what you want. We have sufficient confidence in the discernment of the readers to assess for themselves when a judgement is made on a well-founded basis and when it is the result of retaliation. We really hope you make use of the voucher we gave you, Kellie. The colour of sunrise over our sea can sweeten even the most bitter days.
