"A really fantastic position, The Lugger is a great hotel, with super rooms and friendly staff. Only downside WIFI not good and menu and wine list, somewhat uninspiring. But still very much worth a visit!"
"Location is right on the harbor, beautiful views of a small but lovely fishing village. Room was surprisingly big, well decorated with an excellent bathroom. Enjoyed painting of harbor which was an exact match to looking out the window! Mevagissey has very little parking and narrow streets, but parking is provided about 200 yards away so it's an easy walk."
"Had a great stay, the room was spotless and very clean.
The staff were all super friendly.
A fantastic continental breakfast where everything was so fresh.
I would definitely recommend this hotel 100%"
"The property was fairly easy to find, with off-street parking. It was impeccably clean and tidy. The host (living next door) was friendly but not intrusive."
"This gets a top rating due to the service & hospitality.
The hosts are ultra welcoming and friendly. And gave me some great tips on places to visit, including nearby scenic walks.
Plus Simon cooks a top English breakfast and Paula does a great job of keeping the place in order.
They allow dogs, although best to check with them before booking to make sure they will get on with their dogs ok.
The nearby road is noisy early morning, but only if you keep the window fully open."

Pretty Converted Stable Block. Village Centre, close to Lost Gardens of Heligan
10/10 Excellent
"A lovely property in an wonderful village with an excellent local pub serving great food. The location is ideal for getting to places and yet tucked away in a quiet village so it's very peaceful. We had our 2 year old grandson with us and the rear garden was a perfectly safe place for him to run wild! The next time we head to Cornwall we'll be looking to re-book here as Sue made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We'd highly recommend this location and property as it's simply amazing :o)"
Beautiful barn conversion, close to Mevagissey, Portmellon and the SW Coast path
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed a 5 days break at the Barn in July - The communication from Vicky and Nathan prior to our stay and arrival instructions were excellent. The accommodation was very comfortable with comfy beds, good showers, nice bed linen and towels and we were impressed by the generous welcome pack and homemade cake. Our grown up kids enjoyed playing table tennis on site and we had a couple of swims in Portmellon. The Barn is well located for Mevagissy, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project. We had a great week in this beautiful part of Cornwall."
