Un petit hôtel sans prétention, plein centre donc très pratique mais attention si vous logez du samedi au dimanche : le parking en face c'est fourrière assurée car marché tôt le dimanche matin... Donc parking du château et 22 euros de frais :( Les murs sont en papier donc si voisins pénibles nuit pénible malgré lit confortable. Petit salle de bain et poubelle en métal toute piquée à changer... Personnel sympathique.

Seul point négatif : La salle de douche est un peu étroite. La literie confortable. Nous avons eu un excellent accueil du personnel de l’hôtel. La situation de l’hôtel est superbe en plein centre-ville mais dans une rue très calme.

Nous avons passé un séjour agreable. L'hotel est bien situé pour visiter Caen et la chambre est propre, calme et confortable. Le personnel est accueillant. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

Nice, clean but dated hotel centrally located

The hotel is centrally placed and cheap parking is close by. But it is dated and room ventilation difficult. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shower was tiny but bathroom fully equiped.

Bel et agréable hôtel mais chambre trop basique

Le réceptionniste m’a reçue avec beaucoup de courtoisie dans une entrée très agréable, après avoir passé une élégante devanture. Je m’attendais donc à une décoration de chambre plus coquette ; elle est très basique. Le réceptionniste a proposé de porter ma valise ; agréable, dans cet hôtel sans ascenseur. Un hôtel urn situé.

A eviter

Reservation pour deux nuits pour une chambre familiale pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants. A l’arrivée, la personne de l’hôtel nous dit qu’il n’y a plus de chambre familiale pour 4 personnes. Il nous donne alors deux chambres séparé dont une chambre sans salle de bain. Après avoir laver les enfants, il faut traverser les parties communes pour les mettre dans l’autre chambre, c’est intolerable. La salle de bain est minuscule, l’isolation phonique n’est pas bonne et il n’y a pas d’ascenseur. Nous mettons une étoile car le responsable a accepté de nous rembourser la deuxième nuit, ce qui est la moindre des choses car la chambre n’est pas conforme a ce que nous avons réservé .

Good place to stay for a night

Good place to stay for a night. Great location within walking distance of many things- restaurants, bars, chateau, museum. However- the reason I booked this hotel is that hotels.com shows (still there) "Parking- free nearby parking," under At a glance, then Transportation. This is not true. When we arrived and asked where this was, we were told that there is no free parking, and to park on the street where it is free in the evening (time of arrival) but that we would have to go out in the morning and pay. This is NOT what "free nearby parking" means!

L'unica nota positiva potrebbe essere la posizione ma non compensa assolutamente la qualità della stanza (soprattutto dato il prezzo pagato). In questo hotel non dotato di ascensore, la scale area piccola e ripida. La stanza era scomoda perché non dotata di spazio per riporre le proprie cose. Il bagno era piccolo e la vista della camera dava su un cortile interno. La biancheria in dotazione risultava maleodorante nonostante venisse comunque cambiata giornalmente.

Noisy night neighbourhood.

Due to having no air conditioning and a very stuffy room, the windows had to be wide open and the street noise that went on ALL night made it impossible to sleep. The staff were very friendly and tried hard to please. Breakfast was good for the price. Perfectly sited for a tourist visit.

Hotel calme,intimiste. Petite salle pour le petit dejeuner ou l'on est servi a table. Seul petit hic pas de parking et en journee il faut nourrir l'horodateur.

Bon hôtel bien situé.

Une nuit pour le réveillon du nouvel an.Bon accueil, chambre propre, sdb tout à fait correcte mis à part les tuyauteries qui passent dans la douche et qui s'écaillent. Problème récurrent dans beaucoup d’hôtels pour la fourniture des serviettes de bain lorsqu'on est trois (il faut réclamer la 3e)! Relativement confortable et bien isolé phoniquement.

Notre chambre donnait sur une cour fermée et des appartements en vis-à-vis - petite chambre pour 3 personnes - chauffage par radiateurs non électriques - petite salle de bains, rien pour poser nos affaires - faiblesse du porte-serviettes mural - serviettes de toilette humides à notre arrivée - petit déjeuner prévu dans une petite salle pour 8 personnes seulement (pour 20 chambres ?) donc, plage horaire fortement conseillée par l'hôtelier - l'accueil était aimable en général
