The aggressive Africans pushing their trinkets at every outdoor restaurant took much away from our experience. Hotel was nice, rooms clean, and the locals very pleasant.

Wonderful apartment.

Wonderful apartment in the city center but in a quiet location. Very clean and minimalist design but has everything that we need for our stay. Near bakeries, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. Walkable to bus and train station and all sites.

Staff was excellent, valet parking is very helpful. The room is clean and nicely maintained. However, ventilation is so so and room is a little stuffy. We opened the windows for better ventilation. Location is excellent as very central, and right across all the points of interest

Nice stay with good reception, clean room and nice swimming pool on the rooftop. Only remark is the stuffy smell in the groundfloor hotel room. Probably due to now possibility to get fresh air in the room as it has no windows directly linked to outside , only to the patio.

Clean. Well appointed. Great location. WIFI not functional. Damp smell in room. Lights configured weirdly. Checkin was ugly — no welcome email sent to us so we had no codes or passwords.

The check-in is very late 4pm - saying that I called and they let me keep the suitcases inside. Very nice , friendly and helpful receptionists. Beautiful old Building full of character . Top roof terrace swimming pool. The apartment is big enough a huge king size extra large bed and a comfortable sofa bed . Kitchen with all you need . Laundrette room to be use if necessary. Very quiet area. Highly recommended. Perfect for families and not.

Not as adverstised in pictures. Property is mid block and there are minimal outside windows. Our room had none to the outside and one to the inside hotel lobby. Street is very narrow so even ouside window would be no view. Rooftop pool was good. Location was great. Just know about kack of natural light.

Overrated fair but not a 5 star hotel

The price was very high and the apartment is ok but not the value of a 5 star hotel. The apartment is dark. There is no option of food or room service and the issue of the parking is terrible

Great hotel, quiet as we were at the back. Cadiz is problematic for parking, it would be great if the hotel provided a recommendation of where to park within east walking distance if the hotel, it is not possible to stop at the hotel in a car as it’s on a narrow one way street.

Great location and nice rooms

Great location, walkable to everything, comfortable and spacious living room and bedroom. Bathroom a little small. Great roofdeck with pool. Front desk was super helpful with things to do, places to eat and drink. No parking at hotel but was a close, easy walk and inexpensive. 24 hour laundry on site and machines worked well, don't do big loads because it takes awhile to dry. Would definitely stay again!

When we initially arrived we were unhappy with the room given go us, as if seemed very damp. Immediately when we voiced our concerns, we were upgraded to an amazing room that met all of our demands.

This place was a unique and wonderful blend of old and new. To start, you enter through the doorway of what was once the mansion or palace of some 17th or 18th century Gaditano. It sets a scene (probably not wheelchair friendly.) The hotel is organized around the central courtyard of the original house, resulting in a lovely atrium with interesting historical details. By contrast, the room was fully modern and recently renovated with a very nice bathroom. We didn't use the kitchenette to cook, but it was fully stocked with everything we would have needed, and having the fridge, sink and dishes was very useful. The place was very clean. We enjoyed the pool and terrace on the roof. All the sights were close by.

The two bedroom duplex was such a nice change from a traditional small hotel room for our family of 4 which includes two teens. Everything was very clean and the rooftop/pool views beautiful! The girl at reception was so kind and helpful, however we wish someone would have been available more than a few hours each day. We were unable to get the ac to work during the one night we stayed, but there wasn't anyone available to ask for help unless we called an emergency number. We also had no cell reception in the room and the wifi connection was very weak and went out every couple minutes. As we had a little bit of work, studies, and trip planning that needed to be completed during our stay, it was challenging to have to leave the room to do so. It's possible this issue was unique to the duplex, yet we personally wouldn't stay here again unless we didn't need/want any access to our phones and internet.

We booked 2 suits one for 2 adults & 2 kids and another one for 2 adults and one of our children, they did not have any of the towels or the sleeping sofa’s sheets for the kids or our child, the staff claimed that Expedia didn’t inform them about any of the other guests except the four adults for the 2 suits. The bathrooms has no shampoo or any things except a soap dispense. The swimming pool was not working. The staff member at the reception was not cooperative. I think they could have better communication and better service, unfortunately we will never go back to this hotel. We love Cadiz, Malaga and Spain and the Spanish people but unfortunately we had the first bad experience in Spain in this hotel.
