"It was lovely walking into the room with the heater on, ambient music playing and a lovely aroma in the air. The room was really nice and clean. My only niggle was the bed was a little hard for me. The location was very central for exploring. I would definitely recommend it to others."

Relax in rural retreat

"The online photos showed 3 bedrooms , 2 with double beds and 1 with two singles, but only 2 bedrooms were available. The double bead was small for 2 adults @nd only had a double bed doona which meant one of us didn’t have bedding. My husband ended up sleeping in the pulled out couch so we could both get some sleep. The house was not overly clean. Lots of dust, my husband cleaned the laundry sink and I cleaned the bathroom sink. Lots of dust on the Venetians and had to empty part of the freezer to put our food in. Too much of the owners stuff everywhere and far too many rules. Do not light the fire as there was very little wood and said you would to either bring your own it you would have to pay for the wood used. Also asked to be careful with power use as it was on solar. Was very cold so we used the heaters as much as we needed. The house was in a great location away from the hustle and bustle and perfect for our grandkids. Castlemaine was just a 10-15 min drive away. Great walking area, nice and flat."

"I would definitely recommend staying at Macedon Ranges Veiws Kynton Spring Hills where the location has views like no other and the house is clean comfortable and very welcoming and hosts Ian and Ruth were wonderful and lovely too.Will definitely recommend coming to this lovely location, a definite place to return year after year. "Such a gorgeous place. Marvellous views and such a restful vibe. Lovely treats provided including freshly baked bread and eggs from the farm. It was clean, comfortable, beautiful bed and furniture, v warm and cosy - I can’t think of anything that could be improved. A perfect stay. Thanks!"

"We stayed as a group of 10, aged from 8 to 80 and every single person enjoyed the stay a lot! The view from living rooms and master bedroom was simple stunning, alpacas and sheeps at the door step were divine as well as beautiful outdoor entertainment area including nicely setup fire pit (including wood provided), large dinning area, swings and quality pizza oven.The communication with the owner was excellent and the house looked exactly as advertised (if not better). Kitchen was fully equipped to cook a feast for 10 people and you the place is pristine clean. Finally, beds are very comfortable and every single bedroom has a heater. Overall, it was a fantastic stay! We were celebrating mother-in-law 80th birthday and she said it was the best birthday she had in her life!Thank you Ricardo for making it special!"
