"This hidden gem in the pinewoods was amazing. Everything from the construction to the amenities with refined touches show so much thought into making your stay feel like hone sweet home. We loved the fact that we really didn’t need to bring anything other than ourselves, and what to cook. The hosts were very accommodating. We loved the private giveaway from the bustling city the property gave our family. It was an opportunity to disconnect from work, but still have WiFi if we needed it. We loved exploring the beautiful property and all the creative activities it has to offer. The basket ball area, volleyball area, tic tac ties, trail, and hot tub were so much fun. We enjoyed barbecuing on the deck and stargazing at night. The sounds of nature was soothing for us. The beds are so comfortable. We will definitely be coming back here. We won’t ever stay in a hotel again. Making family memories here is a must. Perfect for a couple’s retreat."

"Wonderful hosts of a homey cabin suitable for a quiet, relaxing get-away or a big family get-together. Huge screened-in porch with lots of seating, outdoor cooking options, fenced yard for the kids and pets. Patty and Isa were eager to show us their self-sustaining farm, and we took aways many ideas to try at home. But if you just wanted to come for the peace, quiet and fishing, I'm sure you would never have to see Isa and Patty, but you'd miss meeting and becoming friends with a wonderful couple. We're already planning our return trip. Thank you, Patty and Isa, for your generous nature and wonderful hospitality."

"What a wonderful and peaceful place this is to stay! Exactly as portrayed in the posting. Very friendly and communicative hosts (but also very willing to respect space and privacy). The accommodations were cozy, clean and comfortable (a coupe of wasps we did battle with but as should be expected with a rural locale). Their dogs have impeccable manners. If bringing a dog you might bring a tie out (to be used as you supervise of course) as we ended up having to attach leash to chairs to have a hand free to drink coffee. They do provide an outside kennel as well as crates. (We brought our own.) We’ll be back!"

"This place was awesome.one of the nicest places I've stayed.abby was a fantastic host.we saw deer,bunnies and had everything we needed.it was so peaceful.just wish it was closer to calif.i would sure stay again.if im ever in texas again I will definetly be booking again."
