"We came from Puerto Princesa and are now in El Nido. The hotels in both of these places (for the same money!) are outstanding which made us realise HOW BAD this one was. We stayed for 2 nights and during this time we had no hot water or the housekeeping done. Appreciate Port Barton has more of a rustic charm so the price should reflect it. This was nothing more than an old outdated static caravan. Breakfast was terrible. Another table were complaining about a 70 minute delay despite ordering the night before. We didn’t have anything day 2 and were pleased to get out of there. "

"The bungalow style cabin was great, I loved the decking and the chairs. The bed was very comfortable and big. The staff were lovely and helpful Downside was the smell coming from the bathroom. It was pretty intense. It seemed to go away once the shower had been used. There was also a power cut which is fine. Just a shame the wifi never came back on for the duration of our stay. "

"Very well located on the beach close to the cool bars. The hotel does exactly what is says and was a great place to base our selves. Hotel room was fairly basic but staff were helpful and breakfast outside in the terrace was a lovely way to start the day. "

Although the forecast predicted rain, we were lucky to enjoy two full days of sunshine—perfect for exploring and relaxing. The house reef just off the beach was a highlight—amazing snorkeling right at our doorstep! The resort's menu and food exceeded our expectations—fresh, flavorful, and with great variety. Every meal felt like a treat. The staff were fantastic—welcoming, attentive, and always ready with a smile. And we absolutely loved the resort dogs, Momo and Toytoy—sweet, friendly companions who made the experience feel even more homey. The boat shuttle to and from Port Barton was scenic and smooth, adding to the adventure. For most of our stay, we had the whole island to ourselves, which made it incredibly peaceful and special. A group of about 15 guests arrived after we left, so we really got to enjoy that serene, castaway vibe.
