We also appreciate your input to help us make things better (we do normally have garbage bags under the sink and plenty of kitchen towels so we will look into that). The dishwasher is new and has "magic touch" technology ("invisible buttons" that appear with a swipe of the hand and it takes getting used to.) -- it's also in Spanish so we will definitely add translations & instructions in our Welcome Book to make things easier for future guests. We were surprised to read your review as it is clear in our description that we do not have a hot tub and the pool is unheated (as is typical in Cabo since the weather is usually so hot & sunny). We are always honest & upfront and have worked hard to earn all our 5-star reviews. As for the construction, our HOA informs us in advance if there will be any noisy/disruptive work and if so, adheres to strict rules/hours. No such notice was given as all the major work on the new home near us has been completed. Additionally, we sent our maintenance manager over immediately after you contacted us to assess any issues. He stated there wasn't any work in progress. Our subdivision is the most established in Cabo and as such, is the quietest and has the least construction. (As you may have noticed, Cabo is booming and work abounds all around town.) We are happy you enjoyed our home, Cabo & your stay with us! Warm regards, Nicole & The Casa CoCo Team

We’re glad to have the opportunity to respond to your review, Andy, and happy you enjoyed 6 nights in what you called our "lovely," newly updated & decorated home. As you know, we were in constant contact with you and always accessible to assist with any needs (ie. booking your airport transportation and making arrangements for our private chef to prepare an authentic, in-house dinner. which included all groceries -- you enjoyed it so much we even made the arrangements for you a second night). We bend over backwards to ensure our guests have a wonderful stay. When you called about the electricity issue, we were as surprised as you (especially since the home has solar panels). We worked immediately to learn what happened. When we determined the issue (the bill was sent to the prior owner since his electric/solar contract is still valid), we had it paid in person at CFE immediately. We take full ownership for the mishap and got power restored as soon as possible (the next morning by 11am). We know this was a terrible interruption to your stay and we did everything fair & reasonable to promptly right the wrong. We had the power restored as soon as humanly possible and gave you full credits for the remaining 2 nights, offered a very generous discount for a future trip, and gave triple reimbursement for your perishables. Luckily we have communication records to show that your claim, "We did not hear back from them until after 5:30 pm,” is grossly untrue. We are kind, honest and fair people willing to work with you (ie. we credited you $200 for the few opened & partially consumed items left in the fridge, which were inventoried & valued at $70). Your actions did not seem fair or justified for the issue, like demanding over $1,000 for your $70 items. Ultimately your stay was interrupted for a day. We expressed our sincerest apologies, fixed the issue and compensated you well. The power was restored, and according to Vrbo, you were quickly and more than justly compensated. Thank you for being our guest, L’Geria. We are surprised to read you didn’t feel your stay was up to your expectations. We did our best to ensure you had a wonderful stay, including making a major concession & exception by allowing you to bring your pet as a birthday gift. We agree it was a transition period since the home has new owners who are committed to making Casa Coco better than ever. To clarify your input: The manager Cindy was accessible 24/7 to address any & all concerns, including getting last minute Covid tests & airport transportation for your group. Any time you needed something, she ensured you were promptly satisfied (ie. she immediately had a staff member remove the bird on the outside deck for you within minutes. Countless varieties of birds have made a home in the tropical foliage in the backyard and in very rare cases, one may fly into the tropical window reflection). The price you paid did not include the fourth bedroom, which the prior owner never rented, kept locked, and was not fit for guests. (The new owners have since taken the time & money to make it a bedroom/game room which can sleep four as the pricing now reflects). Both the Cabo Bello subdivision and Casa CoCo are sprayed for bugs regularly and as often as is safe for humans & animals. As best we try, they cannot be completely eradicated. The moment you called about seeing ants, Cindy ran over a can of spray for your personal use. When you mentioned to the manager that your 21st birthday celebration wasn’t stellar, you were offered the opportunity to stay elsewhere and given a full refund. Since you declined the offer, we felt you were completely happy with your stay. We do thank you for your input. Warm regards, The Casa CoCo Family

Gracias for the review as mentioned to you on the phone I was going to have the maid come and clean the spots on the rug, as they are always spot cleaned if the maid sees the spots after each guest, but you declined. CJ thanks for the review and your input is appreciated. Casa Ron is set up on electrical power and has a solar system that would have NO effect on the use of the AC units or power. We have extra sheets and towels in ALL of the cabinets in each room if you had a problem. We were in communication and you could of called me and I would of had my maid change out the sheets and towels for you ASAP. I would of gladly issued you a credit for the money that was spent if I knew about it. The ocean view picture is posted on VRBO that has views from the balcony and master bedroom. The beach access is around a 10 minute walk or just a few minutes to drive from the Casa. Glad you enjoyed your time at Casa Ron. Gracias Ron
