Close to the train station, restaurants, grocery stores etc. There is a communal kitchen which we did not use but was cleanish with some dishes and shared fridge. You could reheat food but don't expect to make a meal. We had a private double room that was relatively clean and would stay again. The cafe on site was closed for renovations although the listing did not offer any indication that it was closed."

However, the rooms were quite cold, and since you only get a sleeping bag, it can be uncomfortable, especially for longer stays. The bathrooms could also be cleaner and better maintained. I would recommend it for one night, or two at most, mainly for the experience itself. Obviously not suitable for people who are claustrophobic."

"I was please about the location. I appreciated that a grocery store and coffee/bread store were nearby. The city center was a 15 minute walk. The fact that the hotel offers a small "store" with food and beverage items was great. After a long day in the heat it is nice to purchase a beer on the way up to my room. I am unsure of room cleaning schedule but the floors should be swept and mopped at least as a final clean before a new guest arrives. Everything else was great."

"A beautiful, modern hotel located opposite Spilberk Park, just steps away from the Old Town. Large parking lot and also a garage which we did not use. Huge Reception area which made us expect a large room as well. But no, our room was very small with very limited closet space. No balcony, although I would have liked to have one. I was told that they were sold out. The restaurant by the Reception desk is very pricey... and very empty. The other restaurant downstairs was good and decently priced. Breakfast was excellent."

"I had an emergency and arrived at yeh Hotel Continental in the middle of the night. The person that checked me in noticed that I was frazzled when she asked for my passport. She was very calm and understanding. Another staff member helped me look for someone to do my eyelashes. And another one anticipated that I would need a taxi upon my departure and already booked it. The staff is amazing here! The location is absolutely ideal as well. Within a couple hundred meters, you’re in the heart of Brno."
