"My husband and I took an overnight trip for a show at The Gruene Hall and decided to stay at Hacienda Del Rio. From the moment we checked in we were asked if we wanted a welcome cocktail! Our room was great and the bed was so comfy. Hard to get out of bed though!!! We didn’t want to leave!!! They had a great Happy Hour and breakfast items. They even have a pool and outdoor activities. Overall very great and relaxing experience for us!!! Excited to come back maybe in summer to put the pool and activities to use. Very friendly staff! Our trip was not long enough!"

"Great communication with host. Great location. Well-worn apartment. High/major spots were clean (sinks/appliances/linens/beds). Cabinet doors, floors, corners were a little crusty. No washer/dryer in unit. It could be clarified that coin operated washer/dryers are available within the complex. "

"Only good if you want a super camp feel. Was Nov so pool closed (not a big deal). Could be beautiful in the future. Beware: Kitchen not equipped with anything which was the point of booking the room , staff did not help with that after asking, toilet broke/did not flush, tv does not have hdmi connector (old style tv), bed liner but no sheet on one bed. Stayed one night out of the stay. Could hear bottom neighbors. Felt very unease so we left early. "

"We had a lovely visit for our corporate meeting. The hosts made us feel very welcome with a personal note and details. The house/space was perfect for our group with the HUGE meeting space and great outdoor space and spacious living room. The weather was cold but the hot tub was so inviting- heating up very quickly from the app any time we needed it. The spacious kitchen is a great place to gather and had everything that we needed. Parking was ample and the location was very nearby lots of great restaurants and attractions. "
