The location was perfect for easy access to food and stores. The hotel team was great and it was nice to be able to use the pool and hot tub. The house was clean and the bed rooms were perfect for space. We had a comfortable stay. I would totally stay here if we came back for another vacation.

The cottage was nice and very clean and quiet. Did not like the fact that the only TV reception was streamed and kept tuning out.

The only thing negative I have to say is that the directions that were emailed after our booking sent us straight to our room without mentioning that we had to check in at the main office, which was at a different location a couple miles down the road. Had to get that information from another guest. The room was great and staff was friendly. Will definitely stay again.

The room inside was slightly dated but clean. Bed was comfortable. Area outside of our room cabin was very poorly taken care of. There was a bad smelling dumpster next to where we parked. The building right next to ours was falling down and covered in peeling , black construction paper. I never did see the White House featured on the Expedia site for the property. Just poorly advertised for the 200$ per night that we paid.

Cute little cottage that is for the beach. No frills and such but it’s meant for people to come back sandy. Has what you need for a short stay. You will need dish soap, cleaner and paper towels. When we contacted the office to send someone to address ants it was handled immediately. Very friendly and helpful. The pool at the sister motel was nice and it’s right next to the beach so everything was within a mile including shops and restaurants.

Great family of 3 space

We had a quick get away to Buxton from VB for our little family of 3 and it was a perfect little room for us. 2 bed, microwave, toaster, small fridge, tv, bathroom.

These photos are not of the cottages

The photo of a craftsmen style cottage is extremely misleading. The actual cottage was a double-wide trailer with soft spots in the floor where there was no subfloor. Eventually someone will step on one of those spots and step right through the floor into the crawl space.

We came during the offseason just for one night. The outside appearance left us a little concerned as to what we might find inside. However, we were pleasantly surprised. It was a tight fit in the dining area though. Beds were clean, nothing spectacular. Drinking water on the island tastes funny, so bring plenty of drinking water.

There are a few things that needs to be fix in the bathroom and the light in the bed room was not bright at all. And the dumpser there where you can see leaving. Maybe get something thst people can put their feet up when they are setting on the couch while watching tv. Other then thwt it was good!
