Had a lovely stay. Cottage had everything you need, was clean and spacious. The views and surrounding area are beautiful. We will definitely be back! We always enjoy it here and are sorry to leave.
Beautiful location, to base your holiday from. Pet friendly with walks on your doorstep and more a short journey away. The owners are a lovely, friendly couple, helpful and welcoming.
Beautiful house, so lovely and warm with everything we needed set in a spectacular location. Despite the wind and rain we had a great time and managed to do some lovely walks in the better days.
Had a lovely holiday, cottage was great, views were great, and our host Jo was great. Was a great location for all the day trips and lovely to come back to. We all had a really happy stay!

This may be an old barn but it has been beautifully renovated and is a spacious, comfortable and cosy place to stay while in the Peak District. It is in a stunning location and Jo made us feel very welcome and was very helpful throughout our stay.
Snipe Cottage is warm, comfortable and has an outside area where a dog can happily enjoy a game of catch-that-stick. The views are impressive and the location gives easy access to Buxton, Bakewell, Matlock and other smaller places. Great eateries nearby!
We booked anlast minute 2 night break for ourselves and our 8 and 5 year old. The cottage was perfect, had everything we needed and was in a beautiful location. The children loved seeing the animals around the house. Would highly recommend
The cottage is in the perfect location for walking, accessing local attractions and for relaxing! It had everything you would need and more - and was a brilliant location for my partner and our dogs to enjoy some r&r before new year! Thank you!
We stayed in Snipe Cottage which was lovely…a home from home with everything you need! It’s warm and comfortable and in a beautiful location…lovely being on the farm with friendly sheep and seeing the horses was great too. Would definitely book to stay again. Thank you!
We loved our stay here. The view was great with relaxing surroundings. Loved seeing the horses, sheep and chickens. Jo was a great host. Thank you from us and Pumpkin!
Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Just like home from home.
Host was very welcoming and very helpful.
Couldn’t fault the place, everything you needed for a perfect stay.
A great central location to travel to areas around.
We will definitely be back as we still have so much to see around the area.
We had a fantastic time staying in Snipe Cottage. The cottage had pretty much everything we needed, and was cozy and comfortable. Joanne was very friendly and helpful. The farm is located in a fabulous spot, and our kids loved the friendly sheep. We'll definitely be coming back.
The Property is situated perfectly in the peaks with amazing panoramic views. You are surrounded by peaks, big skies & wildlife as well as the permanent residence on the Farm, horses, sheep (shout out to Jack the Ram, friendliest sheep I have met) & chickens. Inside the cottage is cosy, well equipped & clean. Beds are comfy, 2 bathrooms always a bonus & it's quiet. We are already planning our next trip.
Everything you would need for a short (or Long) getaway. Very welcoming hosts- nothing too much trouble. An incredible escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Highly recommended.
