  • A beautiful chocolate box cottage recently restored bringing the characterful features back to life.. Ground Floor:

    Living room: Freeview TV, Electric Woodburner

    Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Coffee Machine

    Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet

    First Floor:

    Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed, Freeview TV

    Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. External utility room with washing machine. Front garden with patio and garden furniture and barbecue. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. . This cosy cottage has been renovated in 2022 to a very high standard, where great thought and craftmanship has gone into every aspect making it a fantastic base for your Peak District base.

    The ground floor comprises of a small but adequate kitchen with dishwasher and all the equipment you should require. The sitting room offers comfortable seating, TV and wood burner effect electric fire, there is also a dining table and chairs. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor with shower over bath. Upstairs are two bedrooms, the master offering a double bed and the second bedroom has two singles. Outside there is an outhouse storing washing machine/tumbler and sink. There is parking for 1 car and an open patio area with outdoor furniture and BBQ overlooking the village.

    Taddington village is in the heart of the Peak District and it has a great pub serving fantastic food within walking distance of the property. You can head out on foot on endless walks or explore the local towns of Bakewell, Buxton and Chatsworth plus lots more!

    Johnsons Cottage can be booked together with Johnsons Croft (UK39764) to accommodate up to 6 guests.

Lovely cottage in a quiet village, with a local pub and lots of walks from the door step. There’s no garden and the front door opens on to the street, so be aware if you have dogs.The cottage has been beautifully renovated with wood beams, solid oak doors and has a welcoming feel to it. The galley kitchen is fully equipped. The layout is unusual with a separate outside utility room and parking in what we thought was the neighbours drive.
