"The Peace Lodge is a tranquil escape. There are not very many rooms, so the grounds are quiet. You get the opportunity to walk through the animal sanctuary on the grounds. "We stayed here on our last night in Costa Rica so we could be close to the airport. The family that runs this is so lovely. It's a quiet spot with a beautiful property. It was gorgeous waking up to one final view of the landscape through the giant single-pane window in the room. They recommended a great seafood spot in town for dinner and drove us to the airport in the morning. "
