"This was a wonderful first stop on our vacation as is it was midway betweeen San Jose and La Fortuna. We stayed in the family villa for 2 nights and found it to be spacious with beautifully landscaped grounds. The local waterfalls were easily accessible and we could walk to local restaurants. It was gorgeous waking up to one final view of the landscape through the giant single-pane window in the room. "I don’t usually leave reviews, but the accommodations, staff and service were exceptionally excellent. My partner and I were here for a short getaway and I’m so glad we chose El Silencio. The food was top notch and there was a wide variety of activities to choose from. The hiking on the property was quite enjoyable and we loved the on property private waterfalls.
