"I was going to leave a 5 star rating but after my staycation at this hotel I accidentally left my phone charger. I spoke to staff 5 times over a 24 hour period regarding looking to see if the charger was found and every time I called I felt like no one made an effort to look for the charger, I had to give my name and number each time I called as no one would ever call me back with an update. As someone who frequently does staycations with my family throughout the year, this definitely changed my mind from coming back. Just because someone is no longer a guest doesn’t mean you can’t assist them as you don’t know if they will return or recommend others to visit. They are still yet to give me a call back on if the charger was found or not. "

"Everything about sugar bay was amazing from the staff to the food to the amenities absolutely spectacular! Not your typical all inclusive buffet, food was very good and not to mention the exceptional steak house and sushi restaurant on site. You cannot go wrong with staying here! Would recommend to anyone!!"

"I booked this apartment late afternoon, and arrived promptly after booking. The host Greg was fantastic. He was friendly and extremely helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. He made sure I had everything I needed and settled me into the apartment with all the info I needed. WiFi was fast and there was a smart tv too to watch Netflix or Amazon prime. Shower was great. Kitchen had everything to make a nice meal. Really great place. Great value for money too. Thank you Greg and Pat."

"On the positive side, the location is gorgeous, the staff very polite and friendly, the rooms and balconies good size, there is ample free parking, and the Cuppa Cafe "grab and go" was quite good. On the not-so-positive side, the furnishings are "tired" and could really use an update, the bathroom had no shower gel and the hand soap was not the best to use for bathing, the shower had no place to put your own items, the bath towels were dingy and rather worn, our passports in the room safe actually warped from the humidity in the room despite the air conditioning, and the two restaurants on the property were horrible with very small menu choices and not very good food. The Lighthouse Terrace was especially bad, the service was so slow it was unbelievable. It was not what we expected from a Hilton which is too bad because there is so much potential in such a beautiful setting."
