We arrived at 4pm after a three hour car journey, it took them some time to find our booking, we were then told the room was not ready (despite check in said to be available from 12.30). After a further wait, with no offer of refreshment or apology, we were shown to a room which had no fridge and whose key had "been taken by the previous occupants". We complained firmly, and the key was produced within 5 minutes along with a fridge. Overall, there were difficulties communicating with the staff whose English was poor - putting it in the kindest light, we attribute their general lack of welcome to this. There were not enough sunbeds or chairs around the pool for the number of guests, and some of those which were out were broken.

Very welcoming
Dining was excellent, traditional local dishes lovingly cooked and served in a most welcoming manner. Good pool. Rooms very clean, staff very friendly. While not close to a specific site it is handy for many attractions by car, though a car is essential.

Agriturismo.
Agriturismo with AMAZING staff. It is a very old Farmhouse Building with Beautiful swimming pool and grounds. It is within an hour of Erice, Spoletto and other places. Very unique and special!

A Special Place
We were greeted by Antonella and Salvetorre on arrival very warmly and could not thank them enough for their genuine care and attention for our short 4 day stay. We feel like personal friends now and very much felt like the hotel had become our home. I would say it is essential to have a car in order to travel freely and explore the area as without would be restricting. The grounds of the hotel are lovely as is the character of the buildings. Enjoy!

Overall it was a nice hotel, breakfast was basic and not good for 4star rating. The room did not have useful cupboards,side tables, no where to upack properly... The restaurant was sporadically open and the nearest decent restaurants were some 23km away. Spa under construction althought it was listed in the brochure. Lovely pool and quiet in June.

Excellent chillout hotel
This was our first visit to Siciliy and this was an excellent hotel and was exactly what we were looking for - quiet relaxing and somewhere to chillout and relax in. The food in the evenings was very good and good value. You need a car but some great sites to see - Erice Segesta etc. Only 11 rooms so if you're looking for something quiet and uncrowded this is a great place.

Convenient countryside access to historical monuments.
Run by a young attentive couple, this farm location features bar behind which is a large raised basin, in which the local women would stomp the farm's grapes with must flowing into a basin in the next room. From there, it was ladleded into barrels for fermentation. Yuppies and princesses would find it too rural.

Un hôtel familial, de campagne agreable, au coeur d un village typique. Même si la deco est un peu ancienne, le confort reste suffisant. Rare une chambre triple avec piece séparée, ideale pour les ados. Un accueil charmant et un petit dejeuner avec des gateaux "maison".

Short stay in Baglio Fontana
Really nice agritourismo close to places like San Vito Lo Capo, Scoppello, Lo Zingaro, Palermo etc. The welcome was very pleasant, the room clean and comfortable. The dinner was brilliant and lavish! Overall, we had a nice time in Baglio Fontana and would go there again!

Un potenziale sprecato
è un agriturismo e ci sta che qualche bestiolina si infili nella camera. Ma qui non si tratta di campagna ma di pulizia ed igiene. 10 vermi pelosi tra bagno e camera; 6 ragnatele con rispettivi ragni intorno alla finestra del bagno; lavandino rotto; pulizia ai minimi; colazione minima; stanze in disordine; foto da sito pazzesche, realtà ben al di sotto; un campo da tennis impraticabile tra erbe e assenza di rete; 4 stelle ottenute con modalità da chiarire perché se fossero 2 sarebbe legittimo e non ci si aspeterebbe di meglio ma per 170 euro a notte non si può offrire così poco. Peccato perché il sito ha veramente del potenziale ma necessità di pulizia ed investimenti o allora una riqualifica a 2 stelle. Sconsigliabilissimo.

Personalen är trevlig men du får inget personligt bemötande. Rummens skick är överlag eftersatt. Likaså är trädgården och lekplatsen för barnen. Du får en dräglig övernattning men du kommer inte att rekommendera hotellet till något och inte heller komma tillbaka.

bellissimo il baglio, ma sembrava di stare da soli

Hoofdgebouw heeft 3 kamers maar wel goed, kamers in de voormalige schuren zijn donker en klam. Ouderwetse tv, piepkleine douche. Ontbijt was chaotisch en niet georganiseerd, je moets om alles vragen aan een meisje zonder talenkennis, hoewel van goede wil. Na persoonlijk ongeval bij het wandelen werd echter zeer adequate hulp verleend door de receptionist. Op het moment van uitchecken was er een half uur niemand aanwezig en kon niemand vertrekken.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön ausgestattet, die Zimmer schön, das Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Frühstück ist spartanisch, aber wenn man fragt, bekommt man fast alles. Das Essen ist nicht günstig und überragend im Vergleich zu den zugegebenermassen nicht vielen Alternativen in der Umgebung, die sind aber qualitativ sehr gut. Ein Plus des Hotels ist der Pool.

Trotz Anlaufschwierigkeiten, gerne wieder...
Mit dem Hotel und der ganzen Anlage waren wir sehr zufrieden. Leider hat uns die Frau an der Rezeption am Anreisetag ein falsches Zimmer zugeteilt und dieses Zimmer haben wir in derselben Nacht um 23 Uhr geräumt und sind in ein viel kleineres umgezogen. Der Service war aber eine Katastrophe. Um 8 Uhr gab es nicht einmal ein Frühstück. Daher ein kleiner Tipp: Sollte man wegen eines Ausfluges einmal vor 8 Uhr aufbrechen, bitte vorher Bescheid geben. Da ist es aber auch nicht gewährleistet, dass man ein Frühstück bekommt. So ist es nämlich uns gegangen. Auch bei der angebotenen Halbpension muss man ewig auf das Essen warten. Zwischen dem 1. Gang und dem 2. Gang haben wir 1 Stunde gewartet. Das sollte bzw. darf in einem 4 Sterne Hotel nicht vorfallen. Haben daher dieses Angebot nicht mehr angenommen. Trotz diesen anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten mit dem Zimmer etc., war es ein angenehmer Aufenthalt!

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen
In der Vorsaison ist dieses Baglio auf alle Fälle empfehlenswert, ein ruhiges Hotel, für das allerdings ein Auto erforderlich ist, da sich das Hotel besonders als Ausgangspunkt für Tagestouren eignet; die angegebene Sauna ist allerdings kaum benutzbar und war nicht gereinigt, das Essen ist gut und günstig
