The hotel was safe and clean with amazing views! Only downside was a lot of the restaurants nearby closed earlier than we are use to so we had to eat dinner at the CU a few times. However the free breakfast was always a great way to start our mornings!

Positives: Fantastic view of the beach from 8th floor. Amazing sunrise. Hotel in good location close to buses and the green railway with a free breakfast. Negatives: cleanliness, there was a lot of hair in the room from prior guests. No toilet roll provided and due to language barrier unable to request some. The free breakfast was ok. It would be nice to have more traditional korean options. For those thinking to stay it was: fried eggs, sweet bread, croissant with butter and jam, lettice, ham, tomato, burger cheese slices, apple, pineapple, yoghurt and cornflakes. Staff didnt seem friendly.

Our first room when we checked in was seemingly nice and roomy, however as we were settling in we noticed that the bathroom counter had obviously not been cleaned, the mirror also had specks from the previous guests. We got another room and while it was better, the overall condition of the hotel is one that lacks upkeep and cleanliness. For example, cracked tiles, dirty grout, dead flies in the lobby. The staff were not friendly and even hung up on the partner after he called down to request something. The only good thing about the hotel was the location seemed good (didn’t get to explore much because we were both extremely sick for the duration of our whole stay). We would definitely warn people to book somewhere else if staying in Busan.

Distance from Busan was not bad in kilometers but timely it toon too much time. Great view, otherwise basic hotel. No restaurointi and modest breakfest

Not recommend it
Too far away from the center and the tourist places. The room smelled like a drain, we asked for help and nobody helped us. The employees at the reception don't speak English and the breakfast had just a few options. At least the view to the beach was good and the TV service.

Great hotel in a lovely location
Lovely hotel overlooking the fabulous Songjeong beach. Staff on reception and at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Our room had a fantastic view of the surfers, was very comfy with good towels, robes and toiletries. Breakfast was basic, but plentiful and fresh. Lots of places to eat around the hotel. The coastal train stops to take you towards Haeundae were 5 minute walk away. Its a walk of about an hour to Haeundae beach one way, which takes you through a wooded area path with a couple of steepish inclines,and along the wooden walkway next the trainline overlooking the sea. It is busy with locals, places of interest to stop at and admire and gym equipment along the way. An hours walk in the opposite direction along the coast takes you to the beautiful Haedong Yonggunga Temple.

This was a really nice cozy yet modern hotel. The interior decor was cool, and we had a really nice view of the ocean. Beach access to Songjeong Beach is half a block in either direction. Songjeong is much quieter and more low-key than Haeundae Beach, though note that it's a local beach, and the western dining options of Haeundae are not available. This hotel though was great! Nice breakfast buffet, refreshing shower, jacuzzi style bath tub. It was a nice cozy place to come back to after a day at the beach. I can't wait to stay here again.

Hotel Laon is a lovely, friendly and clean hotel with fantastic sea views from the rooms. The staff are very efficient and friendly and is ideally placed in Busan with walks to many local attractions including Haeundae beach and the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple.

AVOID THIS HOTEL!
AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!! I had travelled every years and this is the worst hotel experience i got. 1. They threw away customer’s items without asking. They trashed my receipts, hair brush box, hair spray lock, paper bags when they were not in the rubbish bins. They did not even apologise when they made this mistake. 2. They downgraded my room and said they have upgraded my room. My room should have a separate sitting area and the sitting area is the only reason why i booked this hotel. 3. This hotel is extremely inconvenient! You need a taxi to go everywhere!

Great ocean view and jet tub. Bed was extremely uncomfortable/hard for my wife and I. The bathroom is messy because there’s no separation for the shower water, it goes to all parts in the bathroom.

It was located by a beautiful beach. The staff was friendly, however there was a sewage smell coming from the toilets and our room was not cleaned when we left for the day. My friends were not impressed. The continental breakfast was nice and check-in and check-out was fast and easy.

Great stay
This hotel was perfect for my getaway ‘staycation’. The hotel staff was friendly and they were also able to help me in English. The room was modern, very clean with a beautiful view of the ocean. However, the bed was a bit hard. Also, guests will probably need to know how to navigate the bus system as there isn’t a nearby train station. But overall I enjoyed my time here. I will definitely be back again.
