"I want to leave feedback regarding the customer service experience at the Holiday Inn, specifically near the Starbucks area.
First, I do want to acknowledge that there were two Indian women working in the Starbucks area who were very kind, respectful, and professional. They treated customers with courtesy, and I appreciated their positive attitude.
However, the manager with white hair overseeing that area had an extremely rude and dismissive attitude. I felt completely unwelcome during the interaction. Her behavior toward me came across as irritated, cold, and disrespectful.
What made the situation more upsetting was noticing the difference in how she interacted with other customers. I observed her smiling and being pleasant with white guests, while her attitude toward me as a Black customer felt noticeably different and dismissive. Whether intentional or not, that is how the interaction came across to me, and it left a very negative impression.
Customer service should be respectful and professional toward everyone. Unfortunately, the behavior from that manager reflected poorly on the hotel experience overall."
