"Clean rooms , great breakfast and friendly accommodating hosts. Thank you for a relaxing stay."

"It is a motel, great place to get a good night's sleep after hiking the nearby trails. It's not a five star resort/hotel, but it's clean, we'll maintained, lots of parking, and the host was really friendly."

"Great updated historical property! Food was excellent and enjoyed the bars with different settings and live music."

"Beautiful spot with lots of privacy."

"Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....

"Very clean room and helpful staff"

"This place is amazing!! Beds are soo comfortable place is nice staff is amazing and the whole place gives a homey vibe!! Lookout over the mountains this is one of my favorite places to stay and yes we will be booking again!!"

"It was easy to access from the interstate. The lady at the desk had a list of eating places and the times they were open, which is always good when you are not a local. I would recommend it for people to stay there and would stay again when close to the area"
