"This hotel is in an excellent position to the town. The staff were efficient and friendly and the breakfast was the best we've had in a hotel for a long time. Unfortunately the hotel is is need of an update. We had the first room (51) on the ground floor. This backed onto a courtyard outside the kitchen. It was noisy and there was a "hume" from some kind of machinery that kept kicking in. The heating was not on in the evening, despite it being only 2 degrees outside. For the sake of convenience, we would stay again."

"Room was spotless. Had everything we could need. Comfy bed. Very good shower. Big tv, kettle and hostess tray. Very dark at night and no noise. Breakfast was excellent. Can’t fault it. "

"Has electric car charging facilities. This was our 5th stay at this hotel and we will come back again. Breakfast is generously served and delicious. Deer in the garden too. Lovely garden views at rear."
