Everything about the Vermont River House was perfect! Eva was the perfect host and welcomed me with freshly baked granola, milk, yogurt, coffee, tea, and chocolate. Despite subzero temperatures, the tiny house was as cozy as could be, along with plush blankets to watch tv. Having the loft space provided a nice separation between the living and sleeping spaces. Finally, the location was perfect - so simple to walk to Winooski and also to walk, drive, or take the bus to downtown Burlington. Eva compiled a wonderful guidebook that explains the history of the property, along with the meaning of the artwork and photos inside the house. It is a must read for every guest!

A charming little house along the river. Despite its small size, it was stocked with just about everything you need for a weekend or a weeklong trip, but it is quite small; if you need a lot of room to cook, use the bathroom, packed a lot of items for your trip, etc., then this is not the place for you. But if you enjoy staying in eclectic, fun places, and right in a local neighborhood, this is a great place for 1or 2 travelers. A convenient walk, bike, or car ride to many of the enjoyable activities in and around Burlington, VT.

Amazing stay! Place was clean and bright. Comfortable accommodations and quick walk to town. The hammock swing chair inside was incredible to sit in with the doors open listening to the river roll by. Recommend 10 out of 10.

Incredible tiny house!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful both the property and the host are! This tiny house is kept in immaculate condition and the host did an incredible job communicating with us prior to and during our stay! Looking forward to our next stay at this incredible spot!

Perfection

My husband and I loved everything about our stay. The property is fantastic with a beautiful garden, lots of privacy and you can hear the falls. Inside was just as beautiful with so many delightful details, personal artwork and comfortable accommodations. The hammock chair was my personal favorite spot for morning coffee. Within walking distance of great food and drink. Great location to drive to Burlington. Zero notes. Wish our stay had been longer than 2 nights.

Wonderful accommodations!

The tiny house exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail in the design, furnishing and stocking of the house made the space seem bigger than it is, while still being very cozy on a frigid weekend. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We hope to return!

we thoroughly enjoyed our time here- Eva was communicative and gave super clear instructions about check-in/check-out procedures. we really appreciated the complimentary granola and cider provided along with the very detailed binder with suggestions on things to do in the area!! river house is beautiful, i highly recommend this listing and we hope to be back soon :)

A lovely little home with a river included!

Tiny retreat

This tiny home was truly a tiny retreat. The property was lovely and all amenities were provided. Convenient to both downtown Burlingron and Winooski. Though I stayed alone, the unit could certainly manage 2-3 people.

Eva’s tiny home is the most outstanding spot for a weekend in Vermont. She is thoughtful with every aspect of the home and provides anything we might need. It was the perfect size for us. We absolutely loved our stay. Anyone would be lucky to spend time in this tiny home!!

River House

Never stayed in a tiny house before. It was very cute and nicely decorated. Had everything we needed. The only thing I would suggest is change the directions on finding the house. We were told it was a white house but actually looked blue with a shade of green for shutters. It was close to everything and all restaurants. Enjoyed our stay!

Week in Winooski

We chose this property on a whim with no real knowledge of Winooski, only that we needed a close "home base" for daily travels to Burlington and St. Micheal's College. This tiny house proved to be all that and then some. The location, the caring host, and the well maintained, welcoming building allowed for us to stay relaxed through all kinds of weather. Winooski center was a great surprise to us both, definitely something to experience when staying at this property. If we are in the area, we will certainly stay here again!

Charming tiny house

This cozy tiny house was perfect for my stay. Very clean with everything you could possibly need. Quiet neighborhood in an excellent location on the Burlington side of the Winooski falls just minutes from Intervale Center, downtown Burlington and University Mall. There is a lovely private back yard. The host was very responsive. I will definitely try to book this again when I need a place to stay so that i can explore the area more and check out the nearby restaurants and mil.

Riverhouse Review

The Riverhouse is most certainly a cozier option than a hotel room when we visit our daughter at college. The tiny home is adorned with EVERY amenity that you could possibly need. The home is small and efficient yet also spacious enough for our family of four to have dinner and spend time together. We will definitely check this listing first when we need a place to crash for weekend visits.

Exceeded Expectations!

My days at the River House were delightful! Being my first stay in a Tiny, I thought it might feel small, but not at all! Soaring ceilings, natural light, and magnificent art work give an unparalleled sense of comfort. And Eva goes above and beyond- she thought of EVERYTHING!!! From a supply of cough drops to homemade granola to VT chocolates, you will want for nothing! I hope to make it a longer stay next time!

Amazing little place in Winooski!

This is definitely one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in! Eva was very communicative and hospitable. We were super impressed with the comprehensive guide book and Eva’s hospitality! The tiny home is so adorable, the location is amazing, and it had everything we needed during our stay. Additionally, when we left, I accidentally left some toiletries behind and Eva was kind enough to let me know and leave them on the porch for me to swing by and grab. I truly cannot recommend this place enough! While staying, we hit up Mule Bar, Sneakers, and Four Quarters Brewing in Winooski. We loved Mule Bar so much we actually went there twice! We also checked out the waterfront park in downtown Burlington, Foam Brewers, Zero Gravity Brewing, Queen City Brewery, and Vermont Pub & Brewery. We highly recommend Mule Bar and Four Quarters!
