"Overall happy with our stay, it was one of the cheapest options we could find with a decent room. The location isn’t ideal, but there is a free shuttle bus several times per day to the city or beach. The sofa and bed are a little uncomfortable, but the room is well equipes with a decent kitchen and good shower. The pool is decent and the site is green and well kept. On site shop is an absolute rip off, avoid if you can, the restaurante and bar are moderately priced however. The private beach was probably the best part, and the lack of/poor WiFi the worst. The place called out for more vibrancy, but it was comfortable enough to be more than just a place to sleep and we needed some peace and quiet anyways!"

"Hotel spotlessly clean, food varied and really good. Pools and beach had plenty of sunloungers, plenty of shade. Staff polite and friendly. Minor problem with light switch in room was solved in half an hour. Everything you'd expect from a Riu hotel."

"The resort staff are very friendly and helpful , the appartment kitchen was well stocked but needed a kitchen stepping stool as the top cupboards are high , also a sievewould have been helpful. A few minor problems need to be sorted , 1 broken bedside light , lamp in livingroom not working, safe in bedroom not working overall the appartment was good we stayed there 11 nights but was no offered a sheet change. The hotel staff took us to our accommodation and dropped our luggage at the door . Overall the appartment was good. Our host kept us informed along the way . "

"Not impressed with the room, or the style of seperate houses. We stayed at Melia Unas for 5 days their set was better, paths of tiles not gravel. I asked for a hairdryer it never came. Food was good and all the staff very helpful and pleasent. "

"Accommodation is very dated. Website photos do not reflect the hotel. Many of the properties on the resort are old and dilapidated. Wifi in room was the worst I have experienced in the last 10 years and we was lied to about this. For example you will have Wi-Fi on the sofa but less than three metres away you can’t use Wi-Fi in the bed to make a phone call. It was that bad. It was explained as a blackout across Cape Verde however good internet in bar area and other parts of Sal. Friendly and helpful staff especially Duke and the restaurant and bar staff. Free shuttle to Santa Maria twice a day was useful. "
