"We had a wonderful time staying here. The property had everything we needed for a cosy getaway and was just a short stroll from the beautiful beaches of Cape Paterson. We were particularly impressed with how clean and tidy the house & garden was. We look forward to staying again soon. "
"Beautiful property on the lake, just 15-20 minutes away from downtown Traverse City.The surrounding area is quiet, and it was nice to have this lot to ourselves. The host was very accommodating, and we were able to find sleeping accommodations for 10 adults. We spent most of the day kayaking on the water and using the fire pit in the evening.The kitchen is well equipped with anything you need to make meals.One thing to be aware of is that there are limited Lyft/Uber drivers, and we didn't get lucky and had to drive into town for bar hopping and dinner. So, make sure you have a few DDs! The property is large and took time to cool down, I would have liked more rooms to have window ACs. My only other suggestion is that the property could use a bit of a deeper clean in the less visible areas of the house; we found a handful of friendly spiders and other insects in closets, corners, and ceilings. Of course, this is in the summer on the lake, so expect there to be bugs and insects getting their way into the property. I would definitely return to this location! "

"My husband and I have just spent three wonderful nights at Coast Nest. The accommodation was lovely: spacious, clean, comfortable with a well appointed kitchen with everything we needed. We really felt like we were staying at a friend’s home. Our Labrador had a wonderful time exploring the large, fenced garden. The house is in a great location, a short drive or leisurely walk to a great dog-friendly beach. We’d love to return sometime in the future."
