A bit of an uphill walk to the castle and cathedral, but worth it for the peaceful location of the house.A beautiful common behind the house with grazing horses. "Thouroghly enjoyed my stay at the Duke William. Rooms were well-equipped and spotlessly clean. I did like the real coffee and cafetière in the room it is a nice touch along with the cookies. Breakfast was excellent and I would stay here again. Only downside was the stairs and the narrow hallways were not easy for less mobile members of our party, and there was some noise from downstairs if you keep the window open but not enough to bother us. Thank you for a nice stay."
