"The apartment is very small and the bathroom doesn't have a door (just a curtain) which is important to know. The shower drain does not work properly so the water accumulates in the shower. The heating worked well during our stay so we were able to keep warm. The studio doesn't get too much sun. It's a short walk (8 min) from the city center so that's a nice plus. "Die Lage am Rande der Weinberge ist traumhaft. Am Abend konnten wir Füchse beobachten. Auch die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. In Rouffach und Umgebung gibt es viele gute gastronomische Angebote, die Wander- und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten sind zahlreich.Da es wider Erwarten eine zweite Wohnung im Gebäude gab, wäre ein zweiter Tisch mit Sitzmöglichkeiten im Aussengelände wünschenswert gewesen."

"We used this hotel as a quick night stay as we flew out of the Basel Airport early the next morning. Great room with a very comfortable bed and great shower . We missed the breakfast but had a fast and efficient shuttle ride to the airport. Both the evening staff member and the morning staff member were very pleasant and accommodating."

"It was a typical European hotel room (small) but it was clean, and my room had a balcony. The staff was very helpful and the location was great. The restaurant across the street from the hotel "Brasserie Schwen" was recommended by the staff and it was absolutely amazing. The only con is they have no local parking. They recommend a parking garage that is a 6-minute walk from the hotel but it only charges 3 euro a day for parking."

"The apartment was very nice but is in need of some maintenance. Lights were burned out at the bedside & a plug receptacle was partially pulled out of the wall, also at the bedside. The drapes in the living room area, were coming off the hanging hardware. The staff were great & very helpful. The next issue is really a Hotels.com issue. When we tried to navigate to any location on our trip(rental car was used), the location of each property came up on the navigation system as Unknown Location instead of the name of the property. Thus, we found our selves on busy unfamiliar streets close to but not exactly at the front entrance of the facility. Also, specific information regarding actual location to where to park for each facility would be helpful. In many cases, the actual property name is not the exact name on the front of the hotel/apartment."

"This is an amazing hotel if you are going to use trains or buses. The breakfast is excellent. We had a newly refurbished room with a good outlook so that was good. However, there was no easy chair despite neighbouring rooms having two. We asked a couple of times for a chair to no avail. We’d have given five stars otherwise"

"This is a well priced hotel (particularly compared to city centre hotels) conveniently placed on the edge of the city. There are no thrills, not even a kettle in the room. But it is right next to the tram on a direct 15 minute line into the city centre. The trams run frequently, even later at night. A weird interaction checking in. We arrived before checking in time, but asked anyway if we could check in. Without even checking if our rooms were ready we were told no. We pointed we had two rooms booked just as a second request, so the person on reception checked her computer and then decided we could check in as the rooms were ready. Strange. Beds were very comfortable, air conditioning and opening windows. The hotel was fine for what we wanted."
