"This hotel was a perfect location right on a beautiful beach. We first had a room on the “nautical themed” side. This side is a lot older and run down feeling than the other more renovated side. We changed rooms at midnight due to three bus loads of kids (not school buses but giant tour buses) being on the floor right above us. These kids were INSANELY loud and unsupervised. "A lovely family run hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was adequate for an overnight stay. There was a beautiful small beach across the road. Low score is because the room could do with refurbishing, was cramped and most importantly, the bed was very uncomfortable as the mattress sagged in the middle. My wife woke up with a sore back. "This is a great option if you are in town for hiking, especially if you don't speak Spanish. The guy who works the front desk is super personable and will help with hiking routes, restaurants, whatever you need, and he is also a wonderful host - very friendly, very charismatic. The view from our windows of the mountains was outstanding. You will have to shut the curtains ok n the afternoon to keep the heat out, but you won't be there anyway. You'll be hiking or eating or visiting a cheese...
