Dingy hotel!
Needed renovation! Not worth price paid. Window sills filthy, bathroom fixtures were corroding. Walls were all scuffed up, needed paint! Plain dingy! Breakfast was ok. Front desk tried to change or cancel room, management declined!

Accessible, convenient location with excellent service and an incredible breakfast – unequivocally the best spot in Buenos Aires. Almost reluctant to recommend it just to keep this gem a secret! Five stars!

Staff was excellent, great location. Rooms and furniture showed a lot of wear and were not quite as pictured. Not as luxurious as pictured. This would be more of a 3 star hotel.

Bathroom was dirty. Very noisy street below. Uncomfortable beds. Requested a double bed received two singles for my wife and I. Corridors in poor condition. Only the lobby met expectations.

Don't look anywhere else if you're in central BA!
We had an fantastic time staying at Own Recoleta. The staff was very welcoming, especially the front-desk staff who were super friendly and helpful in helping us navigate around the city, including transportation to the airport. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good, and the area was very handy and clean. A highly recommended hotel to stay at if you're in the city of BA.

Worthy of merit
Welcoming property. Breakfast and accommodation very good. Some noise from other guests transmit from loud TV or if the talk outside your room. Didn’t stay more than a night, but location seemed good. I am likely to return in a few weeks. Compared to other spots it seems to provide breakfast and comfort at the 65-70$US range, which seems hard to beat, compared to lower budget accommodation reviews. Shower hot and bathroom fine, but Floor in room was dirty though, not to worrisome.

Ok if you get a good deal
The Family Suite hotel room looked a little like it had been renovated on the cheap. The bathroom was pretty sparse and basic - no tiling on the walls, and the ceiling and lighting was like someone had been dragged in off the street to 'do a job'. Clean and comfortable bed linen though, 2 TVs in the living area and main bedroom. Absolutely delightful staff, especially the waitresses - helpful and pleasant and polite - and permitted a late checkout without any fuss or extra charge. Good buffet breakfast including eggs to order. A great all round hotel for the money we paid, although the advertised/promoted rate before discount, at over 4 times what we paid, would have been absolutely absurd.

Great Experience
We stayed for 4 nights. Overall a great experience! The only issue we found was that we had to wait for almost an hour (3:50 instead of 3pm) for our room. However, the personnel at the front desk were courteous at all times. We used the bus most of the time so it was perfect location. The personnel working during the breakfast were the best. They were friendly and very helpful to make sure you were taken care of.

We had money from the SAFE stolen in the hotel!!
We had the worst experience in my life at Own Recoleta! We had money stolen from the room’s Safe, an apple laptop, sunglasses and a bag with perfumes and lotions. The hotel staff and manager did not do anything at all, no solutions, no apologies, did a lousy investigation even though it’s obvios the only people that have a master key to the safe is the hotel staff itself. We filed a report wth the police who offered little support and did no investigation so far. We are not an isolated case. Same day another guest had his computer stolen from the Lobby. Same thing... hotel did NOTHING! These people are thieves, it’s an inside job! I DO NOT RECOMMEMD THIS HOTEL

Inexpensive, clean hotel in Recoleta
At the last minute I booked a room here for myself and my 3 kids. The brought an extra bed up so we all had a bed to sleep on. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast the next morning was included.

Overall a nice hotel but needs updating.
We had a 5 night stay at Own Recoleta in March 2017 and over all the stay was pleasant. The staff were generally very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. The room was generally comfortable but the windows need replacing and the wifi was very hit and miss usually miss unfortunately.

Very Good location, disappointing bathroom
We stayed 5 nights in total in November 2016. The location is very good, you can walk to Recoleta area and many other places. The breakfast is very good, has fruits, fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh coffee, milk, yogurt, eggs made to order, assortment of bread & pastries, cheese, prosciutto, etc.. The room is basically furnished, good mattress, not so good pillows but the bathroom needs MAJOR upgrades. Housekeeping also is a bit disappointing. Front desk and breakfast help were always very courteous and helpful.
