Beautiful hotel.....once the renovations are done
We were on our way back from Antarctica, via Ushuia, and we had an overnight stay in Buenos Aires, so we stayed at the Hotel reina....lovely hotel, but under massive renovations, so things were a bit difficult

Nice people but the hotel is in poor condition
The hotel was in very poor condition and I think you should consider not selling rooms on your site. The door to the shared balcony could not be locked so the room was not secure. Also the leaky sink ran to an open drain in the floor of the bathroom so there was always standing water.

Old building being slowly renovated...wi fi is unreliable....breakfast is good..first or second floor can be OK..not the others...worth the lower price if you get a room on first or second floor..avoid the other floors...

Nice staff and place to stay
The staff are very nice and accommodating. They helped me so much with the information I need. The room is comfortable and always clean. Worth the price, and not expensive but for me like 1st start hotel because of the staff and management. I will recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again in this hotel when I visit Argentina again. Thank you for making me feel at home.

A basic centrally located place to crash
I traveled alone for five days in BA, Argentina. Pros: Hotel was clean, the staff were extremely nice and helpful, and it is very centrally located, right on the Lima subtle stop. The continental breakfast was decent for 100 pesos, especially considering unlimited coffee. Thus, very basic amenities, excellent location, great service and cheap. I should also mention the building is quite old and beautiful. Cons. The room and shower were extremely small, and there was no Wi-Fi in the room. There was only Wi-Fi in common areas, which were not air-conditioned. Although sometimes I wished that I had spent more money for more services, it is hard to complain for $24 a night where I purchased it bundled with my airfare . I also tend to spend very little time in the hotel anyway.

Comfortable stay!
The service was fantastic! It's clearly not a luxury hotel, but for the price, it's awesome!

Great location, but old/shabby interior
Wonderful location. The male staff for the afternoon is extremely helpful - not so much for the one in the morning as she barely spoke any English and didn't feel helpful.

antique hotel thats gorgeous
I believe its being converted into a hotel so Eventually you can tell this place will be really nice. The interior of the building is absolutely beautiful just needs a little love.

I believe it is being transformed right now into a hotel cause all the electronics are brand new just needs some new paint but the building is beautiful.

I liked the hotel because the staff was friendly and the shower had hot water. Security was a concern because it looked like pretty much anyone could push the door open. Also it has no smoke detectors, you need a key to unlock the room, and no fire escape from our window. you would die if the building caught fire.

Nice place in the heart of Buenos Aires
The location of the hotel is great , in the middle of the city with easy access to the bus line and a subway stop immediately outside the hotel . The hotel was clean with the staff accommodating . The breakfast was decent , something to fill you up for the days activities . The WIFI could have been a bit stronger so as to allow access in all the rooms . All in all a pleasant stay for the money .

Lovely grand hotel but noise a problem
Beautiful grand hotel in the process of being renovated. Rooms large and comfortable. Heating good, rooms clean but we had a room close to the road and the noise was unbelievable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to good food, buses and metro. I would happily stay again but would have to be a room away from the traffic.

A good location in B.A.
It is a good location and can be a bit noisy as our room was facing the road. but for one night there is no problem. we like the hardwood floor feeling cleaner and bathroom is clean though a bit small. no wifi in the room, but can connect in the room outside. and staff was friendly and we were able to stored our luggages at the front desk before going to the airport. and the car that front desk arranged for us was good only cost 300AR cheaper than coming from the airport. overall it is better than we expected

Great location cant be beat. Staff very friendly. Hotel very old with all original wood work. We had best room in the house 211. Had breakfast included. Was ok.

Good Price for location - Antique Building
Got a double room, slept on the same bed with my 1 year old baby, bed was comfortable, the room is big enough to have baby walking around, there was a night stand, telephone that didn't work, fan, tv with cable, so there is a lot to see on tv when you are not out, bathroom is spacious, you can take a good shower. Also,in the next little room we had a single bed, the closet, table, chair and glasses. We got a room next to the stair so we could only see the hallway and other rooms, also close to the kitchen because there was a lot of noise while handling silverware,plates, glasses (between 7 to 10:30 am) and i think they were fixing/repairing or constructing something in the hallway because in the afternoon we couldn't take a nap because of the noises they were making, the rest, all good, we took the cab/taxi provided by the hotel which had a reasonable price. Wifi didn't get to the 2nd floor, and didn't even try to use it downstairs, asked for addresses, bus information and more at the kioscos that were in the same block as the hotel. Breakfast is included, you can have: coffee, natural orange juice, water, milk, cereal, medialuna, jellys, dulce de leche, bread, ham and cheese,etc.

O custo benefício não é bom, pois apesar de barato, o quarto deixa a desejar em termos de conforto, o colchão da cama de casal é péssimo, o banheiro é bem precário, usam cortina de banheiro, o quarto não possui um frigobar para se tomar uma água, o café da manhã é pobre ( tinha pão e, brioche e crossant), o prédio não está bem conservado. O lado positivo é o aspecto vintage que se do prédio que se fosse bem conservado seria um atrativo e alguns funcionários , especialmente a Sandra que é muito atenciosa. Outro aspecto positivo é a localização que é fantástica.

Hotel muito bem localizado, na porta há uma estação de metrô (subte), que apesar de pouco divulgado é um excelente e econômico (19 pesos em dez/19... cerca de R$ 1,30) meio de transporte na zona central de Buenos Aires. Com relação ao café da manhã, é muito bom quando levamos em conta o valor da hospedagem. Além disso, do outro lado da Avenida principal há um Carrefour (distância aproximada de 250 metros).
