The girl at the front desk, Marisol was very helpful, spoke English very well. Places to eat were close by. Nice feature was that the front desk echange US dollars to Argentina peso.

The El Misti Hotel is in a great location with an excellent staff. Very courteous and accommodating. The room was sparse and slightly rundown though very spacious and quiet (got the 9th floor single room). We felt we got the value for the money paid.

The front desk staff were all great and helpful, the location is great, close to gransportation and restraunts, the bed is clean and comfortable, hot water is good. I stayed here 3 times 4 nights within 2 weeks, twice on 2nd floor, stayed only for 4hrs(checked in dat 21:30, left at 0130, plan to leave at 5am), impossible to sleep even with white noice played because the club next door. 2)there were no comforter in the room or on bed, need to ask for it ( the owner does not think guest can get sick and cold at might? ); 3) need to ask for hair dryer; 4) the opening between fixed glass door on the tub and basin is about one foot, i am skinny and need to get in sideway, wonder how big person get shower done; 5) lots of dust on the air conditioner.

Great location but small rooms

Great location gives you access to many of the restaurants and attractions in central BA. The rooms and washrooms are pretty small but since it was only a couple of days stay for us, we could make it work. Breakfast is next door in the bar which is satisfactory.

It is a small hotel in a great location, very close to the metro and major sites, a good neighborhood, and quiet. The hardwood floors are lovely. Beds are decent, though not exceptional - not too hard or too soft. Pillows are stuffed into pillowcases that are half sized – weird. The towels are worn with holes and rips. The toiletries were poor quality. Bathroom is poorly designed with a half-wall shower that spatters water into the room, and a sink that is very small with little counter space. Room 801 is supposedly deluxe, only one with no desk, but staff brought up a small table to solve this problem, though there are insufficient outlets, and not all of them function properly. The room has a balcony with views of nothing worth seeing – just the backs of buildings, and in the summer heat it was unusable. For this we paid extra? The room is 18 steep stairs up from the top of the elevator, very difficult for two people 82 and 70 years old, especially when malfunctioning keys required returning to the lobby on several occasions. (The staff DID help get the luggage up and down, but it was still stressful.) We should not have been given this room. Breakfast is two blocks away at a coffee shop with very decent service, but the food and beverages are excellent. It is a very scant breakfast of coffee and croissant or omelet, so not a lot, but very tasty – everything of superior quality.
