Nice area apartment for the price.
Great location and great value. Check in time is a bit late at 3PM and check out is bit early at 10AM, however the manager can sometime be flexible on both. The bathroom was a small and there was no shower mat, so one had to be very careful not to slip and fall. There were no USA cable news channels available on the TV. The room staff over use a fragrance spray for pillow cases, towels, and sheets. You need to ask them not to use it. It was too strong and over powering.

The apartment was nice and serious and well-fitted out. But very noisy they should warn guests staying on the street side. It is not so easy when there is limited reception facilities, basically during office hours.

I have stayed here in years past three times and again just now. I like the area, which is one of the better areas of Buenos Aires. This is a condo building where many owners place their units with the rental firm which has an office in the building in room 1103. Many units are very similar but there are differences and comments on one may not be the same for another. The pool is nice looking and kept clean, but it is NOT heated. The deck furniture has mostly all broken so the people were on the lawn and on the cement ground. Dont plan on any lounge or chair unless they go buy more. I have never seen the sauna or jacuzzi working. Maybe they only do this in cold months, Im not sure. The room I had was very comfortable and didnt lack a thing. Walls are thin and had some noice from people who just talk out for a few days, then they left thank goodness. Noise level though is better than most places one can stay in Buenos Aires. There are 15 floors most of which has 12 units per floor. There is a 24 hour doorman who will buzz you in. If he isnt there just wait a few minutes. You get a plastic card for the room key. Any rental under 7 days gets no room service. So no maids or anyone else coming in. I like that. I did notice different people that hang outside some doors. They appear to be mooching signals for free internet, or maybe their internet is down. The room came with the rooms and passcodes for each of the rental units so if yours does not work you can try another.

The location is super good. The apartment needs some maintenance. Its very old and the mattress had a hole in the middle. The ceiling light was full of dust and the door of the toilet was ik bad conditions. In general it was ok for what we needed but wouldn’t stay there again.

Best swimming pool
Apt/hotel is hard to check into. No real checkin area and never check in on Sunday since no seems to be there. Great Location and room is nice but other apt/hotels in the area can be a little nicer for same price. Room needs updated but was rather nice.

Misleading
This hotel should not be listed on hotels.com. Upon arrival, I walked to the entrance and there is NO hotel signs anywhere. The "hotel" office is located in the 8th floor. Rooms are located in the 10th floor and above. Once I walked into the lobby I had to wait for someone to step outside to be able to get in. I waited longer and I saw a security staff member. He sent me to the 8th floor. I did the check in and I specifically requested a good working wifi connection. Wifi was simply not working at all. Technician restarted router remotely even after that it did not work. Location is ok but service is horrible. After doing the reservation through hotels.com, as usual, I received an email from a third party property management company confirming my reservation and requesting information to "coordinate" time to pick up the key. I was never informed the office in the 8th floor was only going to be opened until 4 PM. If I wanted "dorm-like" style, I would have stayed someplace else. Not please with hotels.com nor this Concord Callao. Finally, there was no "key" drop anywhere. I had to leave it with the security person in the entrance. One of the forms in the room mentioned I would be charged 25 Dollars if the "key" (white plastic card with NO identification) were to be lost. What if the guard losses it? Not pleased. Room Tip: Advertised with wifi, but wifi does not work.

Upon arriving at the place it seemed very low key but once we entered our room we were taken aback by the heavily trodden scuffed up laminate flooring and upon turning on the light were greeted by this vastly furnished space with lopsided black out curtains. We were on the 2nd floor and had a terrace right across the swimming pool. I am guessing that it is probably the best room in the house. The room is very clean and very functional except for the cosmetic flaws. Amenities are very sparse. They provide you with 2 small soaps and some really rough towels. I read about this in one of the reviews but forgot to bring my own towels. We did bring our own shampoo. But grocery stores and pharmacies are only a block away so no problem. We complained about fixing the drapery 3 times up to our last evening there and no one ever fixed it. I do not know what this says about the building maintenance crew of this hotel. We had to tape the drapes at night and prop up a chair against it to keep it close.

Perfect base to explore Buenos Aires
Last minute booking whilst in Argentina which worked superbly. Room much bigger than expected, clean tidy and great value for money. Traffic noise quite high at times but only to be expected in city centre BA.

State of the superior room left alot to be desired.....very poorly maintained.....power sockets lose...kettle not working properly...blinds broken.....reported to hotel....dont think they were interested that much....bathroom dirty....towels not changed.....could do with some decent renovations....would not recommend....did not enjoy stay

the air conditioner never worked
We spoke everyday of our stay with the staff of the Hotel about the problems with our air conditioner. It never worked properly during our entire stay. Other than that, I would stay again in this Hotel, it has a great location.

1- Old and a bit dirty Curtains(no effective black out) which dont cover the whole window allow sun to break in to the room very early in the morning. 2. The king size bed were actually 2 quieen beds placed together. 3. Extremely old thin towels. 4. The cleaning personnel left our dirth clothes on top of the toilet. 5. bathroom ventilation connects to all other bathroom and smoke from other one will come into yours. 6. Very good location but very noisy Callao street.

This is my fourth time in the hotel. Wonderful location and excellent building and rooms for a nice stay. Located in the edge of Recoleta, you have also the shopping of Avda. Santa Fe at walking distance. The condition of the rooms and the quality of the services (one or twice a week) and amenities (towells in terrible bad shape, for instance), make this lodging opportunity not so convenient as in the past. I sincerely hope they can remedy this situation, since the location, the building and the rooms are really worth for a nice stay in Buenos Aires, if good service, cleaning, amenities and maintenance were properly provided.

Excellent value for money in a perfect location. The hotel was certainly tired in places but overall excellent value for money. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to all travellers especially those on a budget.

Great value for location
Room was large and comfortable with big windows that let in lots of light. The size was big for a hotel room but would be considered a studio for an apartment. Comfortable bed that sleeps two with a divan that could potentially sleep one more person. Room was clean upon arrival, but bathroom got untidy as maid service is provided only every 5 days. However, we got fresh towels and the trash cans were emptied out everyday. Our room included breakfast at a cafe across the street. We had to pick up vouchers from the office. Breakfast was good - included coffee, medialunas, and orange juice. Did not use kitchenette. Location is great. Walking distance to Recoleta cemetery. Cabs to other tourist areas were not very expensive. Did not use public transportation. There are Subte stops on Callou, but not super close. Drawbacks were the following. 1. Main office did not open at 8:30 am as posted one morning and delayed our day as we had some questions. It opened at least an hour late. 2. Check-out time was earlier than what we were used to, at 10 AM, and we had late evening flights. We were able to leave our luggage first in the main office (until it closed) and later with security, but they don't really have the facility to handle this as hotels typically do.

Thankfully I only stayed for 24 hours! Awful location in a busy street in Recoleta. The check in time is 3 pm and checkout time is 10 am which is awful. My room was clean but there was no soap in the bathroom. What they don't tell you about this building is that it's a mixture of both residential and commercial apartments. Staff were clueless and unhelpful. The price was reasonable but I'll never stay at this hotel again.

BROKEN A/C AND DOESN´T SOLVE MY PROBLEM QUICKLY
I ARRIVE IN THE HOTTEST SUMMER DAY TO BUENOS AIRES AND THE A/C DIDN´T WORK AS IT SHOULD, WAS BROKEN, i REPORTED EARLY THE NEXT DAY AND THEY FIX IT AFTER 2 DAYS, JUST THE DAY BEFORE MY CHECKOUT. AWFUL CLEANING SERVICE, DOESN´T CHANGE SHEETS IN 5 DAYS.

This is a long-term apartment rental. Apartments are individually owned and not all in the same shape. My surprise was the check out is at 10 a.m. the office service is only available from 9-5 so if you want to leave your luggage after checkout past 5 p.m., you are out of luck. My room was warm and the A/C wasn't very effective. No shampoo was provided. For short stay try Etile hotel which was stayed at for the first part of our trip. There is no air conditioning in the lobby or the hallways. It was 38 degrees in Buenos Aires in December. The shower was so narrow that i had to touch the curtains while showering! the staff wasnt very accommodating at the reception (security). They provide only one key per room that means when we left the room the A/C and all the lights had to be off. So every time we returned to hot room!!! It is right on a busy street and very noisy.

Needs improvement.
It was okay. We had stayed at the Concord Callao before, some years ago and it had been excellent but it has deteriorated since then. Rooms need updating. There were some shortcomings: we were unable to make calls to cell phones, there was no service for receiving messages, and they only clean the rooms once every 5 days. Towels were changed daily but they were somewhat worn and the white was grayish in color.

great location
great location in a very nice neighborhood close to many tourist attractions. The limitations are that the office hours are much more limited - only until 5pm so you have to plan ahead more than if it were a real hotel - for example, anticipating that you will need another role of toilet tissue before the office closes. Our coffee pot did not work but we made do without it. There is a 24 hour security desk where they were expecting us because our flight got in after the normal office hours. All in all a worthwhile alternative to a traditional hotel arrangement.

Priced like a hotel, but includes a small fridge, glasses etc. Great location and an easy 15 minute walk to 9 de Julio and the microcenter, and about the same distance to go to Recoleta and Alvear in the other direction. Would definitely stay there again... actually had only been booked for two nights, and rebooked for another two nights. Santa Fe is a little over a block away... lots of shops and places to eat, have a coffee outside etc.

This is an apartment so it doesn't have hotel amenitities or daily housekeeping, other than towels and trash pick up. The location is good. Everything is clean and its really fine if you aren't worried about luxury and just want an inexpensive place to stay so you can be close to everything and see the city.

We Will Stay Again!!
Although there are a few area of maintenance that I would address, they did not in any way interfer with the comfort of the "apartment". Housekeeping and management were superb. Being on the street side did provide for quite a bit of traffic noise which helps us to know that next time we will ask for one with terrace or balcony.

Getting worse with every trip
This is the 5th time in this hotel in the 2 years and the service is worse every time. The router for the wifi for the entire floor is now located INSIDE one if the rooms so we were unable to connect during our stay because the guest kept unplugging the router and Temporary Apartments didn't do anything about it. There was no hot water during the first day and following nights of our stay so we would have to constantly keep checking to see if we were able to shower. If there is a problem during Sunday there is little that can be resolved since "maintenance" doesnt work that day and the office at Temp Apartments closes at 4 pm. There was no coffee maker nor cups and it took the staff 4 hours and 3 phone calls to provide one. The towels are so old and stained from years of use, not to mention that you can only receive one towel per person, so if you have to wash your hair you need to choose between drying your body or your hair. The building itself is a very nice building, the security personnel are very helpful and the location is great, but the staff at Temporary Apartments (with the exception of the lady that works on Sunday) is so incompetent and indifferent to clients needs that I will not return to book with them again.

Well situated, great for short stays!
The studio apartment was clean, and well lit. However, washcloths and bath mats were not available, so I had to improvise. Also, the Internet connection was not at all reliable and the phone didn't work (phone company problem, not a problem of the property). Sine I was only there a few days, it wasn't a large problem, but for longer stays it would be terrible!

This hotel has a fantastic location, very walkable to many of the city's sites. We also enjoyed the apartment feel of it and the fact that we had a small kitchen, etc. It's also a great deal for the price. We would definitely return.
