Exceptional service! The pool, sauna, cold plunge, and hot tub were great! The breakfast had a lot of variety and was delicious. The hotel is within walking distance from City Park, the Puskas Arena, and the Arena mall. I would highly recommend this hotel for your Budapest trip!

This hotel is in a great location..2 minutes walk from a bus which takes you straight into the city in 15 mins. 15 minute walk from the beautiful City Park and lovely lovely rooms. Breakfast is varied with plenty of hot/cold items (though we missed a toaster) Staff are friendly, pool was great, sauna too. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Lions Garden Hotel for a few days during a competition, and I was truly impressed by their hospitality. One day, our event started earlier than usual and the breakfast buffet wasn’t even open yet, but the staff was amazing and let us eat early so we wouldn’t be late. Their kindness and flexibility made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Great Stay for Families!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was especially great that we had connecting rooms, which made things so much easier with our kids. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back!

There were many markets near by. The buffet breakfast had a large assortment of breads, meats and cheeses. Wifi was excellent. Pool too cold and hot tub not hot. When cold and wet outside and you need to relax, this was NOT enjoyable. Also, the doorway always had staff and visitors smoking. You had to go thru that to get into the hotel. Interior decor and rooms were excellent and very welcoming. Housekeeping lady we had was awesome.

Delicious food and clean room

It‘s been a few hot days so the pool and sauna were great to hang out in. The room was spacious and very clean; breakfast buffet very extensive and delicious. Everyone very friendly. Euro 2024 Soccer matches shown in bar as well as garden!

Good and close to great facility. The only reason for “close to great” is that I didn’t get a chance to use the included Spa and (charged) breakfast. Location is great, room is great! I got to stay in the room at the top corner facing the church so the unobstructed 270 degree view is unbeatable. Thanks!

Great family stay in Lion's garden Budapest

We had a very nice 3 day stay in Lion's Garden Budapest. Spa was a very nice extra which we didn't know about beforehand. Breakfast was ample, but missing vegan options. Courtyard was very nice for drinks. Location of the hotel was great, just a few blocks away from the amazing city park and there are plenty of buses to whisk you to the closest metro/tram. Room was very nice, if a little worn out. But that's what you can expect from a little aged hotel. It did get very warm in the room during the night. Parking was free on the street, but we took the garage for one day and the ramp leading there is NARROW so be careful. All in all excellent price/quality ratio for Budapest in high season.

Sorry to say that we expecting a bit more, hotel was ok and staff were nice, but our room was a deluxe and just felt like a standard room, spa was ok. Temperature was a bit cold in the hot tub and the pool, it’s faer to say that this is probably why the room and stay was discounted.

The hotel was clean. I was not happy that they switched our room to a smaller room than was booked. The pool closing hours were inconvenient as well. The fitness center was quite small also. Overall it was an adequate place for a night or two but i was much more pleased with other places we stayed in Budapest for similar prices.

Property had no problem holding my reservationas. My initial flights were canceled., 2 days later i arrived,around 11pm. The Elder Gentleman Greeted me very kindly, professionally He made me feel welcome, as that type of greeting was impressive and made an impact on my whole trip. From there all the staff, from Breakfast ladies to the other Front Desk staff were very Helpful, The Breakfast was High Quality
