Excellent hotel, staff were very friendly & helpful. The view of the Danube and the Pest side are stunning. There is a Nespresso coffee machine in the room which was appreciated. Highly recommend.
The Leon is a four star hotel in Buda (a short walk down river from the Chain Bridge) with a five Star attitude. All of the staff are friendly and helpful without being familiar. Our room overlooked the Danube and afforded us a wonderful view of Pest just across the river. We picked the Leon for its location and were not disappointed because we were within walking distance of many of the places we wanted to visit.
We had an amazing 2-night stay at the Leon Hotel during our trip to Budapest. The hotel was spotlessly clean, modern and in an amazing location, perfect for exploring the city.
The staff were lovely, friendly and always helpful, and the welcome drink on arrival was such a nice touch. We honestly couldn’t fault the hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest. We’d happily stay here again!
Property was very clean and modern
Location was excellent. Very close to chain bridge, transportation options.
Housekeeping could have been better and had to ask for items more than once
Room was newly renovated and bed was very comfortable. We stayed at the front of the hotel and there was a little bit of street noise. Lighting in bathroom needed to be brighter. Shower area had a bad smell but went away when the shower was turned on.
Staff were friendly and professional. Food at the cafe was very good and nicely presented.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Leon Hotel and Lounge. It's perfectly positioned on the Buda side and within easy walking distance of the Chain bridge and the lifts up to the Castle District. There is a conveniently placed tram stop a quick walk from the hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was provided with a choice of welcome drinks while I was checking in.
The food in the ground floor café was nice with a choice of indoor and outdoor seating available.
The room was excellent with incredible views over the Danube.
Probably even better were the staff who could not have been nicer or more helpful.
Thanks for a wonderful stay!
