Garden inn seemed like a new hotel. The rooms and overall condition was excellent, the housekeeping team do a fantastic job, however the front desk experience wasn’t great being charged twice on the security deposit and no receipt stating it was a security.
Also, the service in the restaurant is painfully slow. It took an hour for 7 club sandwich’s to be made and then we had to eat them on our transfer to the airport, this would be ok if they were busy but we were the only people in the restaurant. Barista machine is for show, they just charge you for an instant coffee and hope you don’t notice and the restaurant is overpriced but that’s to be expected as it’s a nice Hilton hotel. Breakfast down the road is more reasonably priced.
The location is good. Close to a lot of the main sites and Opera metro station which can get you to things the like thermal baths.
We picked this hotel because it guaranteed separate beds for us all and I would happily stay here again.
