"I saw a lower star-rating on Google and was a little worried after I booked this place, but once I arrived, all my anxiety went away. The check-in process was very quick and easy. The hotel staff here are very kind and professional. They have a very cheap pet fee of only $10/night. The beds were very comfortable, as were the pillows. They have very nice-smelling soap and lotion in the bathroom, and the A/C worked VERY well. The only cons are that the breakfast is very limited. Just cereal, bread/muffins/bagels, milk, coffee, tea, and juice. Nothing hot, but it's free :) That is not a criticism, just letting you know in case you want a place that has a hot breakfast. This isn't a fancy hotel, so it doesn't have built in phone charger ports in the nightstand or light fixtures, but if you want to stay somewhere safe where you get a good value for your dollar, this is the place. It has comfy beds, good A/C, and nice staff. It is pet-friendly which is why I chose to stay here and it met my expectations. The staff exceeded them. Thank You!"

"The hotel had some small things needing repairs, such as a missing down button on the second floor elevator and a torn blackout drape. But overall the room was comfortable, clean, and had nice amenities such as a larger rv size refrigerator with a small freezer section and a microwave."

"The facility was clean and nice. Our Kids Cabin room was a good size, and we had a balcony that was enjoyable. The one frustration that I had with GWL was that you had to pay for parking. The lot was for guests only and was not adjacent to any other businesses or parking lots and we did not have advanced notice of charges for parking. $20 a night seems overly expensive for parking in a normal parking lot for a business that does not share parking with other entities. Other than that, GWL was convenient to all the outside activities we wanted to do, and the kids had fun at the water park. Nice place."
