  • The second oldest building remaining on The Ohio State University campus, Orton Hall was opened in 1893. This cabin was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We came to this area to see Flint Ridge Quarry and the Newark Mounds. We also went down to the lake one day. There seemed to be a lot more we could have done in the area if we had stayed longer. The hot tub was clean and very warm. The host replied to my questions right away. Overall it was a very nice stay!

Lovely little cabin

The place was amazing—a very clean, beautiful place to stay in. We had a great time in the hot tub as well as hanging out a lot in the backyard. The host was incredible with the check-in, and I would love to stay in the future.

The Little Red Cabin - comfortable and convenient

I enjoyed my stay here. It was in a nice town very close to the lake and convenient to Columbus and Hocking Hills. The cabin was nice and the beds were comfortable and the hot tub was a bonus relaxing feature to enjoy.

Great overnight stay

Our family had a nice time for an overnight stay. Only downsides were the dogs next door who barked the entire stay and a few neighbors who were reving cars at all hours. The property was nice and very clean!

Had a lovely stay with a good friend. So many great restraints within a short drive. Earthworks Cafe and Lounge is a must!! Cabin is comfy. Only recommendation is to add curtains to bedroom doors. Will definitely rent again!

Great little spot!

Very quiet, clean, cute spot to stay! Plenty of places to grab food or order delivery. Carport was an added bonus for our hot rod to park under. Back yard area was also a bonus with fire pit, hot tub and table/chairs. We would definitely return here for another stay!

Nice weekend

This is a great place for a couples weekend getaway or an even longer stay for a family of 4. Everything we needed was supplied from the kitchen to the hot tub. Beds were comfortable and the couches were as well. I would highly recommedn this cabin to anyone wanting a quaint and cozy place to get away.

Easy getaway

We had a great stay at Buckeye Lake. The house was clean and had everything we could need. I think Buckeye Lake would be best enjoyed by boat, which we did not have access to. The walking path was beautiful and we enjoyed visiting several small towns nearby. Overall a great visit!

Little Red Cabin was perfect!!! It was so cozy and cute.It was also clean and had everything we needed. Close to all the nightlife and the bed was very comfy. Krissie does a great job! We definitely hope to make it back again next summer!

We recently spent a week at this charming cabin on Buckeye Lake, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. Our stay at The Little Red Cabin was so comfortable. The snow and frigid temps forced us to relax inside the entire visit and we were very comfortable! The inside is even better than the pictures reflect. The beds and linens were comfortable as were the sofas. The owner was very timely in her responses. The location is in a very populated area and you can hear the street noise as well as the neighbor's driveway noise. We did not mind but others may.
