Also, even though RIU owns two properties side by side you cannot visit the restaurants at the other resorts The entertainment at night was mediocre at best. What was labeled as a comedy show was just a game show. There was little humor in it. The beach and pool were clean but patrons reserved seats very early and were never removed after the two hour time limit even though it is clearly marked as being the rule. This led to limited good seating The staff was the best part. Always helpful and accommodating. This was pretty much the only part that exceeded expectations. "

"Everyone was very nice and helpful. Area was always clean. We really loved how everything was accessible. Everything was walking distance, from our room, to the beach and to the restaurants what more can you ask. Although our room was located near the construction site, we didn't care for the noise because we were outside most of the time. Me and my husband really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely come back to this hotel. "

"The dinner plans are nice but they only let you dine so many times. Example….we were here for 10 days and they only let us do reservations five times. The buffets are ok but not the best options. Room amenities is a joke. They never filled our room fridge and when I called to ask for soda they never delivered it. They wouldn’t restock my coffee an at one point left me with a coffee maker without the pot! I love Aruba but will never do the Barcelo again. "
