We enjoyed our stay here, was real cozy and secluded. The AC unit kept the home nice and cool and the WiFi worked fine (which was needed because of no signal).The bed was a bit stiff (probably just to me) but the pillows and blankets were very comfortable. The overall decor of the cabin made me feel as if I was at home.The attached bar outside was a nice touch and would be great for larger groups to sit around and socialize. There is a refrigerator outside as well to place your drinks to have them cold.To Bryson City is about 12 minutes which the road is alongside small rivers the flow into the lake. The scenery to and from the town is beautiful and also lined with rock faces. In general, it will take you a bit to head anywhere due to the mountainous area, fyi.I would recommend to have a truck or vehicle with a higher clearance as the driveway to the cabin was a little steep (and also any of the sights). The road was also a bit slippery due to the rain while we visited the area. We had a truck and didn’t have much issues coming and going.Overall, I would recommend this location if you plan to visit the area.
