"I paid a little more for this hotel than some of the others in the area, and I was… disappointed. It was clean enough, but I could tell the chair and even the ice bucket hadn’t been dusted in some time. There were several rips in the bedskirt, despite a “no pets” policy. The first of 2 nights the air conditioner was constantly kicking on and off, so loud that my spouse and I woke up every time. The room was too small to move around, and my husband and I are smaller-frames people. Half the appliances weren’t even plugged in and I had to crawl around under the desk (ew) to plug them in. The breakfast and the hot shower were about the only good things I have to say for this stay. Had the bed/bathroom not been clean, I wouldn’t have stayed the second night. I just expected more for almost $150/night."

"The staff were all great, the elevator seemed like it might need some maintenance and a deep clean. My room was sufficient, although housekeeping could pay a little more attention to the smaller things like cleaning dust and much off the TV, and cleaning the mildew and grime out of the windows/windowsills. The beds were fine,and all the linens were clean, the bathroom was also sufficient. "

"The property was clean however ran out of hot water too quickly. Had a TV in the bedroom but was unable to get channels to watch. Could have used a few more towels."

"This place is fairly new, it has more than what expected (dishes, soap, detergent, trash bags, refrigerator, microwave, paper towels, kitchen rags, dish washer and even a small stove. It is a modern small house in the woods. :) I loved the location because it is close to all the outdoors activities available and its walking distance from the Nantahala river. It is very quite and secured and worth the money we paid. Unfortunately, I had to lower to 4 Stars because there was no communication from any host or staff, we had to call to check in and find the way to access the facility because no one communicated to us what was the process, we had to wash the towels because we didnt know where to get more, I suggest to management to please add some type of shelf or hooks in the bathroom, The shower doesn't have any reliable hooks or spaces to hold scrubs, shampoo bottles or soap, and also the bathroom sinks have very small counters, leaving us with not much space to place miscellaneous. In the positive side this place was spotless EXTREMELY clean, and that was what stood out the most! Overall the place offers what we wanted, a peaceful and convenient stay. I already told my friends to check it out. :) "
