"The VRBO app made it difficult to communicate with the host. The place was well-stocked.I loved it when a bull elk wandered into the front yard and ate apples off the ground within a few feet from the house while we watched from the front stairs."

"My husband and I went up for just one quick night to get out of the heat. We were looking forward to a little quiet up in the woods and being able to swim in the pool, but when we got there the pool was closed for safety reasons (there was a possibility of a storm nearby). The unit we stayed in is the furthest away from the mainl Lodge. It's actually on the other side of the creek, away from all the other buildings. It was really clean and well maintained. It's a three unit building and even though we were in the center unit we did not hear noise from either side of us. Everything looks like it's been updated . We were unhappy to see that it didn't have the type of coffee maker we had been led to believe, so next time we'll bring our own. It had a full fridge with freezer, microwave, dishwasher and completely stocked with dishes and utensils for cooking. The only complaint we have was the bed was very uncomfortable. It was a king size but it was so hard we both had a difficult time getting sleep. Also, there was a fairly large dining room table, a sofa bed and a huge second TV ( in addition to the one in the bedroom area). We highly recommend this location for those looking for peace and quiet up in the woods. We will definitely return for another visit in the future."

"We needed to get away from the city and enjoy some quiet and nature. This was the perfect place to get away to. We have a 7 month old and we got to take him to the lakes and walk the property and in the evenings grill and relax while enjoying the peace. Perfection! Thank you for creating this beautiful space for us to enjoy."

"The place was quaint and perfect for our trip. It was a bit snug so it was tough to keep our young pup entertained so I might not recommend for people who have an untrained or reactive dog as the other residents and their pets are in rather close proximity. Everything was as described; however, our bed was extremely uncomfortable. I can’t speak for every cabin there but you could feel every individual spring in the mattress and there was hardly any cushion on top of them. Otherwise, excellent stay."

"We The Lerma Family and the White family can’t thank the Manning family enough what a blessing this cabin is our grandkids felt like they were on the best adventure. They had so much fun being able to walk along that creek and just experience nature you’ve had a wonderful time this cabin is just like a perfect camp for families in every way."
