Glacier Park Lodge

Glacier Park Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"Glacier Park Lodge is a beautiful historic property with a unique character and an excellent location for visiting Glacier National Park. The grand lobby is stunning, the grounds are well maintained, and there is ample free parking. The lodge has two on-site restaurants, which are convenient, although both offer essentially the same menu. Our room was spacious and included a large walk-in closet, while the bathroom was noticeably smaller. Both the room and bathroom were fairly basic, and the room used a blower fan instead of air conditioning. There is no elevator, but bell staff were available to help carry luggage, which was much appreciated. A few maintenance and housekeeping issues could be improved. The window screens had holes, the body lotion dispenser ran out after the first day and wasn’t refilled, and we noticed a few spiders in the bathroom. Overall, the lodge’s historic charm, beautiful setting, and outstanding location far outweigh these minor shortcomings. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Glacier Park Lodge to anyone looking for an authentic national park lodge experience."

"This is a great hotel. It is very clean. It is close to Glacier National Park's three East entrances. The only problem is there is very little in the town of Browning to do and almost no places to eat. The breakfast at the hotel is great, after that please either bring your own food or prepare to travel and spend a lot of money. There really is nothing in the town of Browning."

Duck Lake West Shore, Just 15 Minutes from Glacier National Park!

10/10 Excellent
"Larry responded quickly to my inquiries both prior to arrival and while we were there. Good location - more or less between St. Mary and Many Glacier, which we loved. It was actually enjoyable to be outside the park a bit after spending the day in the park as it was quiet and peaceful. It was nice to have a BBQ as one evening we relaxed at the cabin and BBQ'd and we really enjoyed the deck, lawn area and fire pit. The house was well stocked overall, however it would have been nice to have a few more variety of drinking glasses (i.e. smaller glasses as well as some wine glasses) and some shower body wash or soap would have been helpful as well. Not a deal breaker though! It looked like some previous guests left bear spray, bug repellent and some sunscreen which was nice. Glacier NP is a treasure and we were thankful to find this cabin so we could visit our daughter who is a ranger in St. Mary! Overall it was a very nice, comfortable place that I'd recommend for others and I'd definitely come back!"
