We love small Mom & Pop properties. Mountain Pines has been built and run by the same family for three generations. It has old world charm, it is spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. On top of that rates are very reasonable. I would highly recommend staying here. (I hope that you got your ice machine repaired :)

Owner helpful. Obviously loves the property and his role in maintaining a welcome and cheerful environment. Rates a little high, but more than reasonable given the competitive nature of the national park proximity.

Super cute little place. Old, but that's part of the charm. The motel was very retro but sparkly clean and the beds had nice linens and were comfortable. I will definitely be staying here again.

Ryan the proprietor was friendly knowledgeable and efficient. He knew Glacier NP and helped us seem some great local hikes The cabins were warm and comfy and the surrounding town was wonderful

Cute little Motel with friendly staff - we stayed overnight with my elderly mom 84 years old who uses a walker and the bathroom door going in the bathroom is narrow so that was the only drawback- we were in a regular room not a handicap acessible - she did fine anyway as no steps and easy parking right in front of each cabin - the property is clean with nice cabin decor - Beds were comfortable, and nice and quiet. Coffee was excellent- we drove on highway 49 to get there which was an amazing gorgeous drive- narrow highway with lots of twists and turns and excellent photo opportunities

Ryan was wonderful at check-in. He let us know about the eateries in the area and some really awesome things to see inside Glacier National Park. If anyone I know is coming this way and needs to wants to stay on the east side, this is the place.

Older motor lodge that was taken care of through the years. Clean as clean can be. Small but so so comfortable! Best bed in 3 weeks of traveling. Perfect for East Glacier Park.

I’d stay here again and again

This motel beat all of our expectations. The location is beautiful and feels like it’s right in the park. The room was clean, the coffee was great and the bed was extremely comfortable. I think the best part was the service. Ryan helped us find the best hikes and suggested a plethora of other hikes that we hadn’t been considering. It was great having all of his insider’s knowledge. All in all, I’d recommend this motel 100%

Excellent staff and very clean! Lower rating only because rooms are dark & depressing. Can’t keep curtains open because the large windows face the courtyard area and walls are deep dark brown. Great location and affordable, though.
